Lol, no judgement for the socks, but if you want to feel a bit more elegant around the house, there are fleece lined pantyhose on the market that might be near as warm. Love the skirt, very swooshy~. I think I might make one.

I have bought several skirts like this and dresses, but I wanted to start making them for myself. I have tons of thrifty fabric from curtains but did not have a pattern etc. Hopefully I can borrow this video to help my begin. Thank you for breaking it down so simply and clearly.......x

I like the skirt. I love your light attitude and happy disposition. But. I would have loved to see how the shirt actually looked on you without you lifting it up all the time. What does it look like with you just standing? That is what would sell me in making a tiered skirt.

Hi , denim is not that warm but flannel is, and was popular for garments in the past . Good luck with your sewing journey 😊

It turned out wonderful! It doesn't look like denim because it has too much swoosh factor. You would never get that much movement from denim.

Thank you!! So glad you enjoy them! :) I believe I used about 6-8 yards.... I don't recall for sure, but I could measure for you if you want more precise measurements!
