I just found your videos two days ago and I'm beyond thrilled! I've been watching some very good videos from other people but yours is the first one that gives such GREAT instructions on how to make these adorable gnomes. I love the fact that you use patterns to cut your pieces out....so many of the other people just seem to either do it freehand or skip the measurements entirely and being a newbie to this, I NEEDED measurements to get me started. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful ideas! I LOVE your gnomes!

Duane, I've watched dozens of videos of people making gnomes; they are all darling and creative, but I wasn't inspired to make them until I found your instructive videos. Your attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for. I love that you are creating characters from your own stories. It opened my eyes to the infinite possibilities. Merry Christmas and thank you!

You are the one I go to learn about gnome making. Do you think it would be helpful to cover the cone with cellophane that way the hat won't get stuck when dried?
@duanedking84982 жыл бұрын
Yes I have had several crafters suggest that. Great idea. Thank you.

These are great. What do you use for the hands?
@duanedking84983 жыл бұрын
The hands are 3/4 inch wood balls. I usually get them at Hobby Lobby.

Duane, you really need to record your videos in landscape mode! We could see your work closer and it fits the orientation of our TV screens! We really don’t need to see your lap. It would make your videos look so much more professional.

Thank you Deborah. You are correct in the recording in landscape mode. I am learning as I go. Trying to teach the content but am also working on the technical part too.
