I just purchased Capitola Beach and haven't started yet but I need to say what a lovely kit it is. Wow the DP you are framing is beautiful. Thanks for the video. I enjoy learning new ways for framing.

Looks great. I'm thinking about what I am going to do with my Fine soft day. I have 5 others, I just cut the white off and put command strips on the back , which is working so far.

I wonder if you could use foam core instead of paper and hot glue it to the frame to make it sturdier?

Will the blue tact hold for a long time?

Could a glue gun be used instead of staples?

Not sure, but you can try it and if you see it's not working that well: use staples in addition :).

I would not have the white borders showing on the top and bottom, since you didn't make white border all the way around your picture. It doesn't look right. It's only my opinion.
