Thank you for doing this video! Even though it is 4 years old, I found it very helpful. I wish I had seen it sooner. I’ve never tried Dreamer Designs, so I watched a bunch of videos, because they have designs I love. Unfortunately, they are mostly squares, and while I found good reviews for their round drills, the same can’t be said about their square drills. So I ended up purchasing from the company I am familiar with. Yours looks lovely though!

Thank you for discussing the quality of release papers. Mine are from Amazon. They are glossy. They are good, however, I would feel better if they were from a Diamond Art Club.

l use the scilicone paper that comes on the paintings if l have a bare space that my arm and or hand may touch, I didn't know we had to increase our speed, this is a hobby not a race, l work on mine for an hour or 2 and then take a break for another hour or 2, and then back, This is suppose to be an enjoyment and not to feel like work,

I have 3 cats who love to sit near me. So I leave the cover on and place a towel over it, to keep as much fur away as possible. I also put my hair back as I have long hair and it can get stuck in the adhesive. BTW-Natalia, you have a beautiful smile.

Are any of these RE-useable? New to painting, using a silicone mat (for art/cooking) to cover areas with exposed glue (while I work on different colors of the same zone) and it keeps me from sticking to it, but the clear plastic is a nightmare to detect sometimes! Looking for best type cost-effective-wise.

I just discovered, if you take a Q-tip and wet the end with water then squeeze it out on a towel. Clip a corner of the bag of drills and swirl your Q-tip around and stir them up good. They will come right out of the bag. Easy Peasy. :))

I was trying to figure how to frame my diamond painting with foam board and a self adhesive foam border, poster board and the adhesive foam border pulled up the sides so I'm trying to flatten. Anyway, if there is a Dollar Tree near you they have flat foam board in multiple colors, many poster board, and the display board you are using. All for $1.25. Save money and get the board you want.

I have only used multiplacer once and I really didn't like it. I felt I had much less control of where I was placing the drills!
@rosesmith6925
@rosesmith6925 2 ай бұрын
Mutiplacers can be difficult. At first I just started with a 3-4 placer and now most comfortable with a 6 placer. I also found staggering and doing both vertical mixed with horizontal placement to prevent that line she talks about.

My question is after you finish it, how do you protect it & keep all the drills in place while using it in your books? I have an enamel spray I used for coasters. Would you use that or a modge podge? I just don't know if they'd hold together with regular use?!

I have done this but it takes to long, so I use just a tiny bit of baby powder in the jar and give it a good shake.. When your done placing your beads use a damp cloth and wipe over your painting and all the powder will be gone and your diamond's will sparkle...

One question (Sorry for my english) in each poquet you introduce a bag with 1 DM with its drills..if in one diamond painting you have 6 dmcs you will have 6 poquets . if binder has 900 poquets and you do a lot of diamond painting you will have no more storage in the future right?

I always use washi-tape and fix the protection sheed with just one strip so it stays folded away from canvas. I also use a skalpel to cut a little section of the protection sheed and fold it back, but you have to be very carefull not to also cut the canvas too.

our five year old daughter was fascinated by my painting. So I just bought her her own little painting to do. She is happy now, to do it, while I‘m doing mine. Hers has round drills and only a few and mine has quared drills with painting size 60x80cm , so it‘s better, she‘s got her own.

Thank you for this video. My first picture (War Pony by Diamond Art Club) was 56 X 71 Cm. I finished it in 2-1/2 weeks. That was started on March 15th. After a two-week vacation, I have finished 2 other smaller ones and I am now working on my first square painting. I am very addicted!!! I went to Home Depot and purchased pipe insulation, which is what I use to roll the sides with so they don’t get bent while I am working on the picture. Also, when a picture is done I roll it with a rolling pin to make sure the dots are stuck down good.
