Been seeing these on You Tube and decided to give it a try. Something different.

I love your video, as it shows you using hand stitching, which makes it even more rustic and outdoorsy😍😁, instead of machine sewn.

Hi Gary; 1. Use either tailor's chalk or even regular blackboard chalk with a fine point on one end for marking. No Sharpies. 2. Use a rotary cutter on a cutting mat if available - you'll get cleaner edges. 3. After cutting the pieces out, use an overlock (serger) machine to finish the raw edges: Borrowed? Thrift stores? etc. 4. Find an old fashioned cast iron "black" Singer straight stitch machine to sew the seams (inside out) or use an overlocker. 5. Avoid modern plastic machines in general. You can top stitch the seams for added strength. 6. Try a heavy machine thread, you don't need waxed linen. Use the longest stitch length possible.

I can understand if you thought you were being helpful, but did you ask him if he wanted to do it on a commercial machine, with different thread, using a different design, or do it the most effective way showing his creativity? I definitely prefer his method he shows in his video, as he gets a more creative, rustic shirt design product

Lol, I'm a sweater hater too, I think I might just wear this though. You know like over a jacket or something. Thanks for watching!

Good afternoon Gary, What an excellent idea to make the sleeves and the jacket in 1 piece!-I greatly enjoyed your video, but do you have a second video, showing your finished project? as I would love very much to see it😁
