That’s so cool.

@chucknoir It will work fine if you add the gussets under the arms like I show.

Looks easy enough, I'll have to make one. Thanks Sean.

@lancejparrish I was unsure of the neck line so just made it the same width as the template garment I was using for size. My advice is to make the hole small and then you can enlarge it as you need.

@MrBillTroop73 I'm not sure. I guess it would work. I was copying a pattern from another top. Have a go and let us know.

100% wool blankets can be hard to find and expensive. You might want to try one of these as an alternative. I keep them for camping and general household use. www.harborfreight.com/60-inch-x-80-inch-wool-blanket-92625.html

Im 5ft 6in and 10 1/2 stone so a small guy. This blanket is small but my army blankets are huge and there would be more than enough material to make one for yourself.

Is the blanket 100% wool and if so, which military is it from? It sems to be difficult to find 100% wool that doesn't cost a fortune. Enjoy your vids and thanks for sharing

Could I just cut the armpits at a 45 degree angle in stead of cutting them at 90 and having to sew in diamond shapes?

nice video mate but you have to have plenty of time to do such a fine work.... out in the bush is much different

or just cut one half of the dimond into the front half of the arm sleeve
@CommanderKurgan14 жыл бұрын
You could, but then you will continually liftling the shirt body when raising your arms while working, canoeing, etc. Not recommended. Go the extra mile and put the gussets in.

british ppl call the ground 'the floor'
@rh-paving46427 жыл бұрын
Josh O I Know an old Mexican man that does too. but the ground is the floor in Mexico they used to sweep the floor until it was really smooth and flat basically it turns into concrete it gets extremely hard too.
