After prepping this light, it looked like it would be just fine for retention. I was wrong, i now know why they had the dimples on each side of the light on the PH mold i used in the last video. see this is why we do this, everyday I learn how not to prep something and how to properly do it. Im happy this holster is finally going to the owner over 3000 miles away. and thank you all for following this journey.

haha i always think the FDE fall is the darker one! its actually the lighter one! spring is darker. idk why they did that. doesnt make sense to meeeeee

Hey man I’m new to making holsters and I need some help I’m making one for a prodigy 4.25 with a tlr 7a and I can’t seem to make the holster have retention how and where does the retention come from or where do you decide to mold it? Also I’m currently using a griddle to heat up my kydex and it constantly melts to quickly I only turn it up to 275 idk why it melts should I just get a 40 dollar oven will it still melt as fast?

Definitely an oven over a griddle. You can also find used heat presses on Facebook marketplace for cheap. I got a back up for 70. Also the retention on the tlr7 is right behind the rail mount itself
