Making 1 gallon of blackberry wine using frozen blackberries.
Ingredients:
4 pounds Blackberries
4 cups sugar
1 gallon water
1 black teabag
1/2 teaspoon bread yeast
1/2 teaspoon wine yeast (or bread yeast)
1/4 lemon
During the first 3 days give your musk a good stir, and to break up the fruit cap that will form if you are not using straining bags. Rack into secondary after 5 - 7 days, and continue to rack every 4-6 weeks until clear. Degas, back sweeten, bottle let age for at least 12 months total.

Looks like a bomb to me with the cap tight and no way to release pressure.

I did a small batch of this wine last month and it is one of the best fruits to use. Then I provided 15 kg for a next batch. My feeling is that this wine deserves less water as possible to get the fruity notes.

I like how you blacked out the name of the berries, “Great Value”, the Walmart special. It is ok, these are not bad. I have used this fruit for wine before.

Hi! Ive watched a ton of wine videos and looked up recipes, but i think this is the one im going to follow for my first batch. Your videos are very helpful and i appreciate you doing them! After you take the bags out, do you just throw them away or could the remaining fruit be used for something? Thank you!

is there a reason you boil the flavor out of the blackberries first, and only add the juice into the fermenter? I have a 5 gallon fermenter, and I just throw a few bags of these blackberries directly into it after they've been mushed. I re-rack after a week, so the bery pulp get's filtered out then

You don't boil the flavor out, you dissolve the sugar, then as it cools you add the berries to disinfect

@@kleverich2000 I thought that was the benefit of using frozen blackberries - they've already been disinfected and processed.
