I tested nearly every wax before I settled on Soy Bliss/No.7. Can't even count the number of test jars I have around my house. I was tired of trying to fix my waxes and buying all these additives. It adds up. And for what? For the same amount of coins, I could just get a perfect wax and save myself the headaches. This wax is a dream, nearly perfect. I have a matte black jar with yellow gold electroplating that I have adhesion issues with. Literally the only type of jar with the issue. I have to pour above 200°F and pre-warn these in the oven. The just gets so cold, such an anomaly. My other jars (9oz straight sided jar and Libbey 3wick hexagon jar) didn't experience this. I don't need to preheat, just pour at 200 or above. Wicking is so simple and easy!. It's either double CDN 2 or 3, or single CDN 5 or 6. Depending on my diameter. Oh, and it loves the .02 Whisper Booster wicks. I've tried luxury FOs, regular FOs and it behaves the same in all of them. For adhesion issues, I even tried a 50/50 blend of No. 7 and No. 3 (coconut blend). My other variables stayed the same. Both take the same wicking. And with this blend, it still behaved the same as if it was at 100% No.7. No change in wick but the adhesion was noticeably better since we're in colder months. I can imagine doing this for summer months if I'm inclined to make the No.3 wax "harder" if you will. It has to be the simplest, most fool proof wax I've ever worked with. So I finally made my investment with the first 10 cases. Of both No.7 and No. 3. And the throws! The scent is so present. After 3 days the CT is amazing. 1-2 weeks, perfection. The HT gives life!. An 11 oz candle filled up my whole first level and I have a 2 story living room. This was at 10%. Depending on the quality of the oil, 10% is almost overwhelming. Certainly too much for a small space like a bathroom with the same size jar. But that's a beautiful problem to have. I wanted to care about an all natural candle but, I don't anymore. The little bit of paraffin in it is fine by me. It is LUXURIOUS and gives better throws than Coco Apricot imo. It took one bundle purchase from 16/17 and I saw the light. If you can't tell, I think it's amazing. Now, I'm not afraid to start my business. Also, I'm moving to another country soon and they offer international shipping! Might be outrageous to consider, but it'll keep my luxury line going until I find new suppliers where I relocate to.

I love using Soy Bliss wax, I usually mix it with golden 464 with a 2:1 ratio since its so expensive.

I Love this wax! It's beautiful, never any issues. After it cures for a week the HT and CT are amazing. When we pre-pour any of our candles this is our go to wax. I also love the Midwest Bergamot and Sandlewood scent, it's a sweet earthy fragrance. Thanks for the video Jeff! Love Sixteen Seventeen, we carry every vessel they have! I saw the 16/17 website says to heat wax to 200 and and add fragrance no lower than 200 so now I'm extra curious to see your results. Are you in Canada? This is intresting,. Do you have a episode on how to avoid the wax from having a big hole around the wick ..I always get that issue. Like theres wax in the sides and the a big hole around the waxed wick 😭😭😭

I know you talk a lot about different kind of waxes but I'm just starting my candle business and I highly prefer making all natural clean candles but like everyone else I've tried different combinations of wicks and oil percentages and I'm having the hardest time with my hot throw. Is it realistic/ possible to be able to make all natural luxury soy candles that actually smell strong when lit or am I chasing a unrealistic dream? lol

Just wondering why with these wick holders. Why do they always say..... it fits whatever containers. Its doesn't matter what container it fits. Just give the diameter size. It's the only thing relevant. All I know is my container diameter.
