Making CarPlay work on Your 2024 Harley Davidson

CarPlay comes installed on all the new and updated 2024 Harley Davidson Touring Models, Road Glide and Street Glide as well as the 2024 CVO models. In this video I show the installation of a product that makes CarPlay work even when there is no rider communication system present. I don't wear my full all the time, but I wanted to use CarPlay and this was the best solution I found to trick the system and enable that feature.

Nice informative video! I purchased a Bluetooth transmitter to hook up to the USB C connector that for some reason, just didn't work. I'm going to try this solution to see if it works. Thanks!

Thanks for this informative video. Just ordered a bypass from Tim, moments ago. Now, I can remove all of the current bypass and splitter charging clutter that I am currently using.

They sell them on Amazon for android auto and car play. Wireless Bluetooth adapter for car play or android auto. Plugs in the usb. I like yours as it doesn't get in the way 😊

Thks for the video, will I be able to plug my heated seat in when it arrives if I use that plug for the car play, are is there another plug?

You are going to be using the plug for the accessory (seat) might have to wire in a second harness to feed the seat/device. I’d contact Tim at the link in the description of the video and ask. I put something like this on my 23 ST and it caused the engine light to come on, I kept having to reset it.

i don’t understand. what is that plug in? is it an antenna? is it a transmitter? what is it that makes it works?

It is a Bluetooth transmitter. The bike thinks it’s a communication system so it allows CarPlay to be enabled. Thanks for watching and commenting! Always ride safe.
