Thanks for watching and the comment. Great question. I honestly don’t know because I never use the traditional radio. I promise I will tell you what I find, even if it’s not what you want to hear. Always ride safe.
@jst_motoАй бұрын
Ok so I just went out to mine and checked before I answered. There is no way (other than hitting the volume down button) to silence the radio. When you hit the center button on Bluetooth you are pausing the music stream that is why it stops. There is no way to mute a radio station with one push on any button. I even tried the push to talk just to see.

Can you replace the Bluetooth device for another ?
@jst_motoАй бұрын
I honestly do not know because I’ve never seen the need to. The module is built into the helmet and I have not pulled the cheek pads to see if it is possible to unmount the existing device in order to replace with a different one like cargo or a different brand without damaging the integrity of the helmet. If that’s something you’re really interested in doing I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly and asking as they would be the best source. With all that said. If you don’t like the Sena setup that comes on this helmet maybe the better option is to buy a modular helmet without a Bluetooth communication system built in and then purchase the Bluetooth device you want to use. Because almost 100% of the systems out there can be installed in any helmet that doesn’t come already loaded with one. I just found it economical to buy a helmet already preloaded. Thanks for watching and the comment. I know I didn’t really answer the question but it’s the best advice I can give at 3:31AM. Please do come back and tell me what you decided to do because it might be useful info in the future. Always ride safe.

Hi! Awesome video, question. I’m planning a four day there and four day back ride from Sacramento to Chicago! Would love your opinion on the best route.
@jst_motoАй бұрын
I apologize for the long response in advance. I LOVE this idea!! Thank you for watching and the question. With 4 days there and 4 days back the first thing you need to ask yourself is do you want to run interstate or highways. To do the latter go into google maps and plan your trip to Chicago (choose avoid interstates and tolls) put in Carson city NV as a waypoint on your way there then you will for sure end up on US50 (the part this video shows). Google says it’s 2,184 miles which would be 546 miles per day assuming an average speed of 60mph. I don’t know your pace (how many miles you want to try to do a day average) but that’s like a 9 hour in the saddle day if you do it straight. When I do a 9 hour day in the saddle I take 11-12 hours to do it. So it’s doable if you are willing to put the time in the saddle. I recommend doing a few rides local that require 1 and a half hours to 2 hours in the saddle just to see how your body feels. Then if you want to see or experience different things on the way back allow interstates. Out there my experience is that even the interstates can be fun. That’s what I would do. And if I took interstate back I would change it to 5 days there (non interstate) and like 3 days back then you could spend some time visiting the cool little towns you’re going to pass through. This might be the best question ever asked on the channel and will be mentioned in my next video so thank you!! Please let me know how this trip goes and what you decide to do. Hope to meet you out there one day and always ride safe!!!
@lindadiazea2525Ай бұрын
@@jst_motoThanks for the quick response. Great recommendations! Let me plan my trip tomorrow, definitely taking highway 50, through Nevada. I’ve done 10-11 hour rides. A couple years back I rode to Utah. This year I did Anza Borrego desert and had a blast. Hardest part for me is figuring out my hotel stays.
@jst_motoАй бұрын
@@lindadiazea2525 completely understand the hotel concern. We have been fortunate to be able to find a hotel and reserve rooms while we are stopped for lunch. In all our trips we have only had 1 time that it got sketchy for finding a room. Our stop was hosting a lacrosse tournament and we called 20+ hotels before we found one with rooms. Lol. We found one though so I think you’ll be ok. A different option I’ve done in the past is to put something out to your friends on social media and see who’d be willing to give you a place to sleep for the night while you travel. Lets you catch up with old friends and might help you plan an interesting route that is unique for you.
