That’s really cool that you don’t use transfer tape. I’m knew to making signs. About 14 months doing it for a living.

I have always enjoyed looking at the chevron arrow signs. I used to draw them, print them, and yes, I even made them with vinyl, reflective, and aluminum materials.

Them chevron signs get hit quite often.

I'm curious as to what type of vinyl you use for the Chevron arrow. I looked into using some type of liquid for sign applications but the vendor we buy our vinyl through said it would void the vinyls warranty, due to wet application not being recommended. I can not seem to find any vinyl with a spec sheet allowing for wet application. If you don't mind, please let me know!! P.S. I love your videos!

The yellow sheeting in the video is from 3M. It is Fluorescent Yellow, Diamond Grade (DG3) reflective sheeting, stock # 4091. The black is also from 3m. It is Electrocut Film, stock # 1178 (Black). We use only sheeting from 3M.

@@BobTheSignMan Thank You!! How long have you been using this application method with the Black? You haven't noticed any bubbling or issues with the sign vinyl staying attached to the backing?

@@brandihuffer7220 I have been using a product called Rapid Tac on some of the traffic signs I make. I use it on all types of color sheetings from time to time. Most of the signs I use no liquid at all. I have use the Rapid Tac the better part of 10 years with no problems. You really need to roll out the excess liquid. I have never had a problem with bubbling or adhesion to the other material.

Did not know it was called a chevron sign, btw is there a way to increase the mic quality cause I can barley hear you

I will look into the sound if I can. I don't seem to have a problem on a few different computers I have tried. I don't know if any one else is having a problem with the sound.
