I'm finally getting around to bucking up some of the trees that are on the ground. Put the Stihl 500i through a little workout and got a nice pile of rounds ready to split.

I thought about cutting a few of those shorter but then figured Poplar as mini firewood might not be too popular...lol...even though a lot of gas station bundles are Poplar.

That's a soft wood tree , we call it poplar in my area, your saw would take more time cutting through an oak same size😊

Yep that's poplar, but it's actually a hardwood. And yeah might take a second or 2 longer if it was Oak.
