I put far too much effort into making this silly idea look cinematic than is reasonable, and it was completely worth it.
Comment what other beans you'd like to see get made into coffee.

I swear, the amount of times I come up with an idea only to realize that someone has already made it is going to accidentally become a running theme with this channel. I got halfway through planning an upcoming project only to realize I had reinvented a hydroelectric dam (I wish this was a joke).

I don't like coffee, so I was hoping you would find an alternative for me. Don't think you did, but you made me laugh. I will definitely stay away from the green beans.

If you want to keep experimenting with coffee alternatives and don't mind retreading some territory people have already established, I've been fascinated by the idea of roasting dandelion root for a coffee alternative. There should still be time in the season to dig up some of your own and do the whole process without having to buy anything too.

If I ever come back to this idea I'll give that a shot. I've eaten dandelion before, and it's surprisingly good! I never thought to put it in a drink

as a suggestion, maybe you can try lowering the music volume in future videos. in some portions it was a bit hard to hear the voice

I'm with the flood of new people, it makes me wonder what we all had in common for the algorithm to bless us with hot bean water. Maybe we're all followers of James Hoffmann? I'm definitely going to try that black bean coffee. I just wish the color wasn't so...sewer water.

I agree about the color being off-putting. It looks a bit better after it gets filtered through the press. I ended up drinking it the next few days while I was editing. It's great on a cold morning.

It is supposed to be in April. I'm working on a pair of videos that will take a few months to make, so I'm trying to build up a buffer to avoid a huge gap between videos.
