QB, regarding premium fire extinguishers, I heard a long time ago that, because they also reduce the chance of fires, they were mathematically cheaper than standard fire extinguishers. There was math to back it up. They're the only premium consumable I use across all tanks.

I appreciate you taking the time to grind on free to play just so you get a better idea of what 90% of us experience. You coulda just kept playing pay to win and do the usual video, but you listened to the fan base and went through the grind most of us do just so you can have a better perspective of the game. Massive respect QB.

I had fun playing ranked with the Leopard 1. It's great penetration with its godlike accuracy makes it also great for free2play players. A different good thing about the Leopard 1 is that it also is quite flexible. You can be the Sniper if there aren't any Tds and if there aren't any light tanks it is quite effective in spotting.

I feel like no one has enough time to do all the grinding up tech trees and ranked and mission marathons

Quicky This season started rough but I made some changes on my Patton. I put the turbo charger on my Patton which enabled me to get to were I needed to go just a bit quicker and was able to get to tier 6. Hopefully next season I can get to tier 8 or 10. Also thanks for your tips that's how I got the idea for the turbo charger. Stay safe and have a good one.

I'm an arty player, and yes, on this map I usually cover South flank, as well as that elevated South direction on Westfield. Maybe I'm not that dumb after all. I'm not all that smart either, as I can't clearly explain why I do that, except referring to my personal experience and the fact, that both those paths allow to flank and encircle opponents, if successful, or allow our opponents to do that to us, if we fail.

I remember when I was FTP and dabbing the 2 key was an absolute rarity. I remember the JPE100 was my 2nd tier 10 and I loaded 4 HEAT shells, and in the first 800+ maybe 1000+ games i played in it I only fired one of them just to see what it was like

A couple of years ago I played absolutely with no first aid kits, tools or fire extinguishers - to save credits. Also never bought them, as I got them for free, likely mostly as rewards from special events.

I have been playing WOT casually in F2p mode since 2013. I have fired only 2 premium ammo in my career (in Is-3) just to see how it sounds differently than regular ones :P

PlaysforFree doesnt necessaraly mean you cannot play with food at some points. Basically sometimes food pays itself (it costs 10K credits and will propably make you 10K more credits by not missing that shots, or making the extra spotting dmg etc).

I remember getting a heckuva lot of Premium Fire Extinguishers for free 2 years ago around Christmas iirc, to this day I haven't managed to burn through them all The difference between the rate at which they get used and the rate at which I get new ones from missions is massive, I actually manage to sell a dozen or so here and there, so I'm not sure why one would not want use them

Ranked is toxic and rather get stuck in traffic than play this mode.

Hi quickybaby. My first tier 10 tank will be the T110E5. I'm already half way through grinding the M103, and my next highest tech tree tank is tier 7s. I made the decision to go down the heavy line hard years and years ago, without doing much research on what a good tier 10 to get would be, not that it matters much given how much the game has changed since then. What are your thoughts on playing the T110E5 in general, ranked, and espescially free to play? I remember you said a little while ago, it got a mild buff, right?

I ranked mostly in M48 Patton and obj 430U. But the easiest way to get through the ranked system, and after a few bad games I have to admit I did it too, is the SPG, high damage every game and the last to die, easy low hanging chevrons. I think having 2 SPG in ranked battles is completely broken, and the 155 is a powerhouse in the hands of the right player. This is just my opinion.

I've not played this game in 7 years. Yet I still enjoy watching QB.

I hope they will remove the Chevron loss eventually so you can stress less. Though I feel more players would simply give up and lose on purpose

My favorite ftp tank is the tier 4 italian jobby with the crazy HE.

I fire special rounds only with tanks like deathstar. Otherwise I never fire special except in advances. I'm mostly f2p with the exception of decoration boxes since they are worth so much. I love the 60tp HE rounds, really beast. Need to get M4 54, 705a, pzVii and e100 for even more useful HE rounds

QB, I am against the suggestion of not using free automatic fire extinguisher you get. For a few reasons: 1. It also lowers the fire chance. 2. Even the fastest reaction will still make you lose one or two more ticks of fire damage compared to guaranteed only one tick of damage for auto extinguishers (might be the deciding factor in some games) 3. Unlike other premium consumables, point no 1 make you rarely consume it (you WILL use repair and first aid almost every game), thus basically letting you to have unlimited stock of automatic fire extinguisher even if you just play casually and get free extinguishers from time to time. I am recommending ppl to use it at least on high tier tanks (if you don't use foods) since they basically pay for themselves and get you that extra survivability that you might need to win games -- thus getting more money.

If you're not spending any gold, how do you move crews up to a new tank? Or do you retrain them to 90% or so/start with new crews for each vehicle?

What about tanks like AMX 13 105, Obj 430U, T57 Heavy, S. Conquer and Obj 268 4? Which one of those would be a good choice for F2P?

QB, why no premium fire extinguisher? I have never purchased one (you get so many from random missions) and yet still use them on all my tanks. I keep 100 spare and sell the rest.

I enjoy ranked. For the simple reason of there not being any chieftains and such. The 5a was my workhorse kinda tank. Supported by the occasional game of the Kranvagn and the Patton. But I do feel like mediums might be superior to the heavies, so gotta get me an STB or 140 for next season. The Patton is just not quite up there anymore I feel...

QB, an idea, you should try to play your tanks both in the pay to win and plays for free skills/consumables , but do it in a way that you don’t know which one you’re playing, it would be interesting to see if for you having those extra boosts to a tank makes any noticeable difference to you

Ranked still sucks. We need linear ranked based by EXP points earned. If you lose, it is what you earned - flat 500 exp points. If you win, no penalty.

The only thing I will disagree with is that manual fire extinguisher is not worth it. Taking an automatic fire extinguisher will save you often allowing you to stay alive and earn more credits IF it is even activated in 1 out of 10 games etc. It also reduces your chance of even being set on fire by 10%. I think it is the only must have premium consumable for every tank.

Glad to know that my Kranvagn was a good choice for a first t10, at least for Ranked

You can totally use premium consumables as free to play. You just need to buy them half the prize. I for example have over 1000 automatic fire extinguishers from missions etc. It rarely gets used so I havent bought them for a couple years... So mainly I am using the repkits and medkits or a rare food in the game. With that either making small profit or small minus. Basically brake even. Most likely you need to be silver/gold player to have enough skill to maintain such thing or just play enough with your premium tanks. If you dont have a premium tank then I would recommend to use that 30-40€ for one. Just think of it as buying a game. (or play with the most profitable free tanks, QB made video about them) If you cant do that either. Then you just need to cheap it out. Get better and do it with out the premium consumables. It doesnt even really matter what league you end up. The biggest prize are from the divisions and completing them gets you the tank reward. Even if you place last in the whole thing. I mean probably biggest expense are premium ammo and consumables. Dont use those and you should be pretty fine even if your not good at the game.

Why not the 705A ? it's pretty hefty. When you came up with the 60tp what criteria did you use to make that decision?

I did my ranked run in 60tp mostly too. Added a heavy spall liner and laughed at artys and other HE spammers. Its just a bit boring. That did cost me some battles when I tried to be a medium and horribly died

The premium fire extinguisher is according to me about the lower chance to get lit!

Its very true, this 60TP is a beast. Ive had it for a while now, and when it hits, boy oh boy. My only question is, why pick the Coated Optics? I mean majority of the time you will be playing within 50-200 meters, so why would you need to get the Optics? Serious question, as I play this tank a lot. I picked the same as you, but with the Vents, gives me a nice reload boost and overall boost to the tank.

I’ve started grinding the ebr line free to play and I’ve heard it’s not that good playing free to play. I’m at tier 8 and that takes me a while as I’m not that great. Is it worth grinding till the tier 10?(i am having fun in them so far)

mapguides in general would be awesome!!!! I feel like WoT as a game is just too big to "learn" for me. I see this, cuz I quickly master most gamemodes (like Steelhunter and haloween stuff, etc..). I feel like I need some info of how to read my map. What reaction to a certain position of enemies should I have, that kinda stuff.

3:56 well that might just be a habbit. I one marked (since i cant do any better at tier 10) my 140 pre buff with barely shooting gold and making profits.

I’ve actually enjoyed playing the Manticore in Ranked. Like with the T-100 LT it has a ridiculously low profile that finds folds in the terrain and soft cover that I never found in bigger lights in randoms. I find that chat is less toxic because players are more focused on the game (chevron tunnel vision maybe) and trolls and AFK are almost non existent. The teams are more balanced (only 2 arty) and all tanks are same tier. I’m a 3rd division ordinary Bob, but I am looking forward to the next season already.
