Making INSANELY detailed cosplay in 1 month!!

Sponsored by Square Enix. You guys, I am SO EXCITED to finally show you this finished project and all the chaos that had it come together. Square Enix asked me to create a cosplay from the game #forspoken out now on PS5 and PC. The intimidating and beautiful Tanta Sila was the obvious choice for me. The character just exudes power and strength and I could talk for so long about the amazing visual design of the characters and art in the game.
This was the most elaborate cosplay I've ever created as there's so many intricate details and I really wanted to get this perfect!

Hahaha I honestly was pretty close to leaving that bit out! But thank you! It was about a month total, basically the equivalent of full time hours!

Just amazing. The amount of work, figuring out what to use, where to start, switching gears if something doesn't look like it will work. And figuring it all out from images! Thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I'm getting better at using trial and error to switch things around when things aren't going as planned. It definitely pays off doing more experimenting!

I am absolutely in love with your take on this outfit it's wonderfully well constructed! Unsolicited advice:I would say that an embroidery hoop or something to keep your tulle taught while you're sewing will help with the embroidery. Well done!!!

This is such lovely work. And your dress construction and sewing looked really good on the base dress even before you assembled the other elements on top of it. Creating something so fitted - and actually having it fit - isn’t easy, and you nailed it.

I thought the triangles for the helmet were 3D printed and wired together. What you did is SO much easier and quicker!!!! I have to get my hands on some of that water soluble stabilizer material. It'll make working with any stretchy material SOOO much easier! I was wondering: do you take fire safety in to account when making costumes? Look for materials that don't burn easily, of use fire retardant spray or something?

My question would have been what other characters did you have a choice of?...However what little I know of this slight Kingdom Hearts slash Final Fantasy esque fable...Tanta Sila really is the main choice for intricacy. Fascinating. I think I'm going to try out the Forspoken Game Movie...

I love to see someone look at something like that flat foam sheet and make something no one else would have saw and bring it to life! Don't you understand what a gift that is?
