Bruhs, just fm a sine wave from the sub, to osc b with another sub, then osc a with another sub, turn the level of sub osc, and osc b down and mess with the FM knob of both and just use hyper and dimension in serum👌

Did you know that if you click 'Generate' in Kick 2's 'Render' tab, it renders your entire kick drum and you can drag and drop it in your DAW? Awesomeness!

You should consider changing the opening music to "We Don't Play" for each artist who does a tutorial. i.e. Virtual riot sound part from the "We Don't Play"

@@internal_error530 It's pretty similar. I've made a really detailed snare in Kick 2. You just gotta raise the base pitch up a bit so it hits on a snare tone (about 200-400 hz is where I like them).

@@internal_error530 Dude, Kill The Noise also has a REALLY good tutorial where he gets super experimental, so does AU5 and he uses Operator. Au5 also shows how he makes drums in his In The Daw episodes. ArtFx and Letssynthesize also have good drum tutorials as well. I hope you're able to learn from them!

I never use kick for dubstep usually I use only for house (because I only use the default kicks), but what VR shows here open to me new perspectives, I think if use effects after export the kick it's possible to have even better results. Thank's Disciple and VR to teach us with these amazing tutorials.

Good video! i use Rob Papen Punch Kicks to create my synthetic kicks. Then I layer acoustic drums over it using Reason Drum Kits & Addictive Drums 2. I've never seen Sonic Academy Kick 2 before. That's a new VST for me and i think i'll invest in it soon. Thanks for the tutorial. Very well put together and straight to the point.

If I'm going to be honest you don't really need any expensive vsts to kick and snares. I just sample stuff & make them with a lot of post processing :D

Don't know if you guys will get a chance to answer this, but whenever I try to use any sample from stock Ableton samples they wont load into any synth including kick 2 and even serum. I'm on Windows 10 with Ableton 11 suite. If you answer back id be thankful.
