Me and my mom made the hat out of an old shirt it turned out good. I also had a foam toy sword a spare green shirt and some light gray pants. (We were poor and when its night the pants look white).

Just curious - do you use snaps or clips or anything to keep the hat in place? Or is it directly attached to the wig? Or is it really just held on by being well fit? Thank you!

A combination of a good fit and Bobby pins! I sewed a couple loops on the inside of the hat to secure pins to the wig without them being seen

What type of fabric did you use?

I used just a basic cotton twill for the hat and tunic ^^
