Been playing very on and off since 2016 and I’m Plat, peaked at diamond on old match making. However becoming part of the community I know 0 advanced mechanics I flow freely understanding the games physics, the shots I like taking, and rotations. Now I feel I must try these to see what my true skills could be 😂

I'm a champ 2 and I accidentally backflip more often than I score goals. I scored a flip reset double tap once... it was a complete accident, I flipped the wrong direction.

Love how the speed flip guy was literally only able to speed flip 😂 the attempts for the ball off the wall felt like he was immediately handing the remote off 😂👌🏽 respect for being able to speed flip though 👀

I'm an [UNDEFINED] and can consistently miss open nets from 2 inches away, do a musty with the right setup, do a breezi with the right setup, do a flip reset and more with the right setup and I've got no clue on how to set any of these up.

I'm not even ranked, but I can do a few things. I can speed flip sometimes, I can get the ball in the air to try and air dribble, and I've been told to be great with passing (idk why)

As a diamond 1, I can hit a demo around 50% of the time, but it goes up to about 90% if they say "Wow!" "Okay." or "Nice one!" after i hit the original demo

im plat 2 and have this mechanic i made up, its called "whiffing rotation and aerials" you can do it in the air and on the ground, usually makes your opponent think they have the upper hand, because they do...

well i can flip reset musty flick as a plat 3 im actually surprised the other plat at the end was so good

What they say: "I'm gold and I can flip reset" What they mean: "I'm gold and I hit the most scuffed flip reset ONCE in freeplay with unlimited boost, attempts and no defender"

"I can do a flip reset" Translation: "I scored ONE flip reset after hours of practicing in freeplay and have not been able to repeat it ever since"

To speed flip, you need to diagonal flip and in mid-flip, aim your joystick down and air roll left or right. I just reached silver 2

I thought i was a mechy gold cause i can air dribble but seeing how many of my peers can speedflip makes me think twice

I remember when I was playing rocket league I full on tried the speed flip, and man it's hard to do out all my attempts I only did it 2 times correctly (in training anyways). And in actual games I only hit it once after 15 matches 😔

When plats say "I can flip reset!!!" they just mean they accidentally got a flip once and the ball slowly rolled in

Plat 2 that can flip reset musty, speed flip, ceiling shot and do pretty much anything a champ can do… as long as it’s in a training pack that sets me up already💀

im a gold i can half flip and wall to air dribble and i can sometimes hit ceiling shots but not really consistent still working on the ceiling shots i can also wavedash

I can throw any match that i am winning and i am consistent in that.

I'm plat and can consistently lose. I even have the muscle memory for it.

I’m a diamond 3 who once broke champ and over the course of rocket leagues entire life span, just learned to air dribble and extremely inconsistently at that. Anywhere from 3 touches to full contact the whole way. With the occasional complete screw up. Don’t even ask me to start it from the ground, I can’t. Don’t even ask me to flip reset, I can’t. Sometimes, on a foggy night when the wind is blowing true north during a harvest moon I can absolutely nail a double tap, ground pinch, OR (important word here) ceiling shot. These are times when I generally screw up my set up, and think oh hey I could try this, and sometimes it happens. Other than that, I’m a game sense player.

As a plat. The only mechanics I can consistently do are speed flips. Half flips, air dribbles, Ariel shots and dribble flicks

personally, im g1 division 2 on 1s but i cant do some aerials (most of times) and some chunky speedflips rarely, yet i think im a little bit higher on freeplay experience than most of my opponents.

i can do like ceiling shots,flip resets and flip reset musty’s ( not very consistent )

Spent 2 hours today learning speed flips and succeeded on 2/500 tries. So yeah, I can speed flip as well.

When people say "I can do *hard mechanic* consistently" what they really mean is "I tried *hard mechanic* for 18 hours straight and hit it once out of 165363 attempts"

As a high ranked player, I recommend everyone to learn air roll, before learning these difficult mechanics. It's so funny seeing people attempt resets without having any car control.

Ill do resets , flip reset mustys and ceiling musty, ceiling shot, and speed flip and halflip Trust me sunless. Ill do anything u say.
