I've only just stumbled on your channel, I don't know if you go back to read comments from a month ago. I feel you. I struggle with depression and when you mentioned it I felt you in my soul. I feel this song and vid too. The tears come from almost being humbled by witnessing something so beautiful. It hits you. You feel grateful but at the same time it wakes you up to your own demons. If home is where the heart is then my heart has lost all hope. Where is home? Took me right back to being in an abusive relationship and losing myself, being hopeless, 8 years of abuse that left me with a breakdown and c-ptsd. Home is me. My mind. "Hi my name is Ronnie, I'm an addict" that pounded me. I want to be addicted to laughter and joy, but instead find myself almost addicted to being depressed, because it's "safe" and not as scary as waiting for the next devastation. I don't like it, I hate it, but it's uncomfortably comfortable. I'm not even sure im making sense anymore, I'm struggling at the mo so could be talking shit. And that's what happens when you can't shake the demons of abuse.

This isn't even my type of music. But, it seems that after even a couple years since my dad has died, this song really captures how I have felt inside. My emotions sometimes just take a turn from normal to on-edge so quickly, that I don't even know what happened. I know I can't relate to all of what's in this song, but some of the more painful parts definitely show in words how I feel inside at times. Sometimes, I do feel like I have lost self control. My dad was the first person that I was really close to that I lost and processing those emotions has been the hardest part. Like I said before, it's been just over two years, but it really hasn't gotten any easier. Even while I'm writing this, it's making my emotions come back again.😢 Over the last couple months I keep finding myself coming back to the song because it's almost like a type of release. I'll hum or sing along with it, and when the song is done I actually feel a little better. I don't know how to describe how that's even possible, especially from a song like this. I don't listen to other music like this, but this song is like a vortex. I really hope that the group, song and the music video get the recognition they deserve. The message, power, time and talent that make this song/video come together is simply amazing. As you said at the end of your reaction, "How can people dislike this song?" "What is there to dislike?"
