What a beautiful soap! And a really well-done presentation of your process! I am definitely going to try one of these! One thing to add, though, if I may ... when the soap sits for that 12-hr set up time, it is actually undergoing the chemical process called sapponification - taking it from something that stings the skin to something creamy, mild and delightful. Now we can touch it without getting burns 😀 Cure time allows for the final stages of sapponification to complete, while also evaporating out excess water. Thank you so much for this video! 💕

Ms. S. If I'm overstepping let me know. I just want to add that cure time allows all the water to evaporate out of the bar so the soap is harder and milder. The harder the soap the longer it last. Let the soap dry between uses and don't leave in stagnant water. You killed it. Nice drop swirl.

I saw this video floating past my recommended and by the end of this I'm totally subbed. XD I've been thinking of an all natural eczema soap for a while - activated charcoal, tea tree - because my mum has it and it's making her spend a lot going to the doctor's, and you just gave me a couple more ideas! I didn't know about moringa powder! This sounds like it'd be so good for the skin, seriously, I HAVE to try this. Thank you!

One of the best tutorial videos I’ve seen on CP soap. I make hp soaps and recently purchased all the ingredients to make my first batch of CP soap. I’ve been watching tons of tutorial videos but have put off making the soap because it seems so complex and difficult so I’ve been nervous to do it. After watching this video I’m actually really excited to give it a shot. Thank you!! Do you know if this recipe helps with acne as well?

Wow I just found you. This is an old video too. It was about this time I was switching to heat transfer method and I could not find much info on it at all. I guess it is considered an "advanced technique because the lye water is so hot.. You do heat transfer exactly the same way I do it by using the lye water to melt the hard oils first and then adding the liquid oils. I make 40 bar batches so it takes a few min. to melt all the hard oils but I love the method. I had so much trouble when I first started getting the lye water and oils to the proper temp. range at the same time. With heat transfer there is not that issue. Great video for someone just starting and good info on the properties of each of the ingredients. Thanks

“Ask your doctor” - they wouldn’t have a clue. 😂 If it can’t be prescribed, end of story. These ridiculous disclaimers that everyone feels the need to make…or are made to feel the need to disclaim. You’re making soap, and with this one, using your loving heart to assist those who so need. So, as long as you don’t use those synthetic micas, T.D. and/or neurotoxic ‘fragrance oils’ you’ll be making the lives of eczema sufferers (or anyone else) much more tolerable 😊😊.// Now I see that you’re using Moringa, Actv. Charcoal, and anti inflammatory Turmeric - good stuff. // Lavender E.O. would also be an excellent choice - calming, soothing, relaxing and healing. // I’ve seen the full video now. Your soap looks amazing. And beautifully natural. Each one an artistic masterpiece. Love the way you did the top - so lightly feathered. Brava❣️Soap-making is a never ending journey of discovery and creative spirit…and possibly quite addictive 😉😉. May your journey continue to unfold as beautifully as you’ve started 💜

It turned out so beautiful!!!! I've never made soap using lye to melt my oils....Hmmm. Might have to give it a try. I always thought you had to melt oils and match temp with the lye to make sure the lye went away. So it doesn't burn you. Your way is less time consuming!!! It takes forever to get both the melted oils and lye water to get in range of each other. Thanks for the wonderful video. Merry Christmas!
