Beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I’ve been fusing glass for about a year and still have so much to learn! How do you get your cabs so round? Was your stacked glass different sizes?

Heya, Kay! Thank you for your kindness! We've been fusing since May 2020, and I learn something new each time we run the kiln it seems! To get a rounder shape I try to stack to 9mm high, so three layers of 3mm thick glass, usually a base color, a dichro, then a piece of clear, and that makes the cab puddle out like a baked cookie. I get the most consistent results when the 3 pieces are similar size, but they don't have to be perfect. I hope this is helpful to you!

How much did it cost you to make them vs how much you se them for? Would it be cheaper to purchase the Cabochons already made? What is the difference in quality of hand made ones vs bought ones? How many do you sell and do you make all of them into pendants or other pieces of jewelry or just sell them plain? How do you determine how much to sell them and where do you sell them? For a beginner, would you recommend doing them by hand or purchasing or getting different rocks?
