I’m always spending at least $100 on parrot toys when I order them online, then a friend sent me this link. I’m blown away! It’s worth the money if you have the time to sit down and assemble toys for your birds. Pick textures you know they like plus some they haven’t tried before!

@MikeyMoVlog sent me here. I ❤❤❤ BIRDS! We have rescued all of our birds and we currently have a 13 year old male Zebra Finch, a 7 year old African Green Singing Finch, a 14 year old American Budgie, and a 6 year old African Meyers Parrot. 😊

You can get toy parts like these from feathered addictions for cheap, and they don't require a minimum purchase. And, no, I'm not an affiliate or anything, but I have 7 birds and can't afford to buy toys for my birds all the time. It's a lot cheaper to get individual pieces and custom make toys for their personal preferences. Plus, I can stretch the toy budget by reusing partial pieces that my birds break off for "new" toys. If anyone orders from feathered addictions and you're in the US like I am, the prices listed on their website are Canadian, so when you place the order, it seems like you get a huge discount when you checkout because of the exchange rate. 🙂 And shipping isn't too long despite their being in Canada. My birds love anything SOLA, which is how I found them to begin with years ago (they have a good variety of sola parts).

Loved the vid! The pear links for toys can be a danger even if you do close them, some parrot have unscrewed the pear-links themselves 😬

My budgies LOVE jute sticks! I like the idea with the pinwheel palm leaves and jute sticks! My birds would destroy that in like 10 minutes! Also, how would you describe the texture of bamboo? I was thinking of getting some for my budgies, but I’m not sure if they‘re strong enough to chew through it.

The bamboo is super hard lol my suns don’t seem too interested but Cookie likes it! Maybe smaller pieces would work? The jute is Peach’s favorite by a long shot
