Happy Saturday! Today I made a seating area in my front garden and had breakfast there. Then went to the library for a day out with some of my small people (great nieces). Then went to see mums partner to check on him then home to make pasta. Mamma Mia!

Put it through the thickest setting. Fold the sheet in half. Put it through the pasta machine again. Repeat a few times. Then start reducing the thickness. It's like a final knead. That will improve texture and help against the sticking when you pass through the cutting roller. Also dust the sheet with flour before cutting it.

Morning Rechenda (and the beautiful assistant Jack ) that was a lovely vlog your Library looks lovely I haven't been in one for years your pasta looked good I think if you had sifted a bit of flour over the pasta strands it would have separated I think your seated area looked so stylish happy Sunday to you and Jack have a great day .xx

I use a pasta maker , bought one for 50p in a charity shop 20 years ago … it’s always so good.. hang the pasta up to dry ..also when it comes out of the machine guide it out with your spare hand so it keeps seperated

I also am also a cat owner and local pet sitter in Herts. I don’t have a garden but I’d love one. I’ve got one of those machines it’s second hand though never used it :) maybe I will one day soon. Love your videos very helpful re: budgeting, shopping and cooking:)

I used a pasta maker at home before. You need to dust both the dough and the machine with flour before passing it through. Once it’s cut, drench it in flour to separate it even more. Don’t shy away from using a lot of flour, you can shake it off before boiling it and the rest will come off while boiling. You can even use more flour and freeze your pasta, I’ve done it before. It has to be cooked from frozen though. I recommend watching Rosie Maio on KZfaq, a very nice Italian lady whose mum owns a restaurant in Italy. She doesn’t teach people recipes or anything but you can get a hint of good Italian techniques. Maybe check her out ❤❤

I bought five shirts at a thrift shop that didn’t have a fitting room. I’ve got to return 4 of them, and it’s a 45 minute drive! So frustrating. Next time I’m wearing an undershirt and just trying them on in the middle of the store if I must. I really need to get a pasta machine, we’ve been on quite a kick of foods that a pasta machine would be an absolute blessing with making them.
