I think if your mom would’ve liked the dress, wear it. My grandmother would try fighting me when I was little about wearing dresses and finally gave up the fight when I was around 8. I jokingly said as a teen that I’d wear a dress again at her funeral. Gram thought it was hilarious but then I wore this dress I loved and still have with big purple roses and skulls when she did pass years later. I dared anyone to say something about it to me. All my relatives had the same reaction, “gram would just be thrilled to see you in a dress regardless of what it looks like”

I’d of cooked a veg curry or a stuffed aubergine with cheese and vegetables maybe rice too
