😆Dick fight Island is on my TBR--can't wait for your review.

I've accepted that I will not be finishing 40 books this year. I was hoping to read more post baby but I didn't. I'm also very disappointed, I've been saving a book for the last 2 years because it's a Christmas book. This year I had scheduled for my bath book that I could start the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I got about 40 pages in and I just can't. It's YA and I was expecting a New Adult from the way the blurb read. I feel asleep twice reading it in 2 weeks. Like feel asleep in the bath(Yes that caused a shit tone of anxiety) The first time I was like "I'm tired that's why" not this last week. Anyway, I made good head way into my goal of 40. I'm hoping to read more in 2024 since I want to start taking walks again. I'm setting my goal to the number I actually finished the previous year +1

Assistant to the Villain is on my TBR, so glad to hear it was enjoyable. I'd never heard of Dick Fight Island, but with a title like that, I feel like I have to read it. 🤣I love how you described Sword Catcher because I was literally just telling my mother about The Whipping Boy lol.

I just found Christi Caldwell legitimately two days ago and have already devoured two of her books and a novella... I love!
