My friend asked me if i could make a knife original designed by him, a little knife to carry while going in the forest looking for mushrooms or just to use in the country

Nice knife - really like the unique look. Just a tip because I myself had trouble getting a finger hole on a knife to be perfectly round and I also didn't have a near big enough drill bit. Just like you I drilled multiple holes and filed out the rest. I found that once I cleared most of the hole with my 3/8" round file I swapped to a half round. I held the tip of the file with one hand to help guide it and as I cut with it I carefully slid it around the hole in circular motions, typically making full circle in two cuts. This helped me a ton in making the hole perfectly round, hope it helps you too. Best of luck!

Ho appena scoperto il tuo canale, e lo trovo stupendo, fai dei lavori davvero ragguardevoli! Mi piacerebbe moltissimo possedere un coltello di questo tipo o simile al tuo tantō da collo, e vorrei avere qualche informazione in più (il tutto ovviamente se è possibile comprarli, cosa di cui non son sicuro). In ogni caso sono molto contento di aver trovato un italiano che fa questo tipo di video, e soprattutto che realizzi lavori così belli

+Lascky cerco di utilizzare i materiali che trovo senza usare negozi specializzati, quindi soprattutto amazon e negozi di bricolage come bricoman, mentre per l'acciaio se vai da uno sfasciacarrozze trovi un sacco di balestre

@Gabrulo, if you drill through with a narrow diameter bit first, then your larger one, it will cut more easily.

Very cool just subbed. Word of wisdom though, I noticed your stropping wheel on the drill was rotating towards you. Always set the rotation away from you, if there is a catch the blade will be thrown away from you instead of right at your gut. ;-)

It is beef leather, it was a piece left in a farm and it become very hard, i have to find how to make it this hard from a new piece of leather

From a car wrecker you can find car leaf spring, or a dump. Also old circular saw blade are made if good steel
