Proud to own one of their pieces. Absolutely my favorite pair of glasses I’ve owned.

Such a great brand in all honesty man, I have a Matsuda pair from the 80s-90s and it's lasted over 20 years now and not a single issue, really iconic, and extremely underated, Great quality 🙌💙

Look I don't need glasses alright... and there's no way I'm going to spend like more than a hundred dollars on a pair of glasses. But this... this I will consider. Those who made this video: proper good job.

Vega 23 it is worth it. The craftsmanship in these glasses are insane, but the durability isn’t that good for everyday use. Masunaga has better durability. But the only Japanese frames I love is Matsuda and Masunaga

@@kenose1 as delicate as the design was on my pair, I sat on them more than a few times, but they were able to bend everything back. Certain parts are thin and delicate but I think that's what makes them so lightweight and comfortable. I once crack one metal part, it was only $30 to have it laser welded back and looking like new

@@meowmeow1244 I wear an m1010 eyewear on a daily basis for more then a year and I can tell that there are no signes of usage. But I am a very careful and delicate user, of course I've never sat on the eyewear nor had it ever fallen.

Looks like a factory anywhere in Asia really. I'm sure they have better QC but the techniques are probably not any more advanced than you would get elsewhere.

Definitely not more advanced, that's the point, it's more like old world craftsmanship
@american_psycho1147

It's not about being advanced. It's about being made by hand the old-fashioned way, by skilled craftsmen that value their craft. Compare that to a sweatshop making as many frames as cheaply as possible put together by people paid too little to care
