Our friend Chef E-Dubble aka “The People’s Chef” is back. He takes a break from running his Grilled Fraiche food truck and cooking for his celebrity clientele to teach you the basics of Omelettes 101. He’s got you covered - from the classic 3-fold French omelette to buffet-style omelettes stuffed with everything from shrimp and ‘shrooms to honey goat cheese. Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring, so gather your fixings and get those eggs a crackin’!

Just some update: Ever since I started making my omelettes the way Chef E-Dubble makes it in this video, my experience has been brilliant. No more burnt omelettes, no more wasting too much time on them, just nice, quick and delicious. Thanks again :)

I've watched several videos and have been looking for this method for a week now as I saw it done in a buffet line. I even saw one of Jamie Oliver's and his method was alot of work and not all done in one pan. You're the only one that showed a 3 fold method and that looks super. I'm going to try that one first. Thanks for sharing your video!

Glad to see you flip from the pan.So many people (chefs included) try to flip with a spatula, and wind up making a mess.I am 88 years old ans have cooked omelets all my life. I NEVER try to flip with a spatula. Love your video!!

I made a omlette with salami, tomatoes and melted cheese and it turned out amazing. I also put some hotsauce. The egg cracking technique works too. Thank you E-dubble you are the GOAT

One of the best omelette-cooking technique videos I've seen on KZfaq. You're amazingly calm and confident. Kudos, brother. I've cooked eggs in many ways since ever, but making omelettes (specially cooking on the other side), has always been a bit intimidating. Watching this video just upped my level of confidence by a couple of notches. Still need more practice for the one-handed egg cracking, though. Thanks a lot. P.S. mmm --- mmm --- mmmmmm!

i was taught by 2 classically trained french chefs that french omelettes are to never have any brown coloring at all. still looked delicious and in my opinion, as long as the egg is cooked, have at it. great video
