I really like the innovations compared to the old version, the new floating valve and the tiling which completely covers the bricks probably in order to contain suspended particles (replacing the large stones used in the old version). The concrete rings too, very good idea. Where does the water comes from, pond or papa mu baan? Do you use another tank to feed the filter by gravity ?

Thanks for this video on the water filter update. Could you elaborate on the screen you mention that goes on top of the tile? I downloaded the AQsolutions document "blue-barrel-system-manual_2022.pdf", but it is not clear to me what kind of screen you refer to. Sorry if I missed something ... Also, does this eliminate herbicides/pesticides and how about a UV-step to kill microbes/viruses ?

We just eat raw vegetables and fruit so we do not need more water to drink. We just need water for washing. We can live much simpler and relaxing life.
