It is inevitable for the modern city dwelling people. The simplicity of the life you speak of can come about when one is blessed with a piece of land so that true sustenance can take root. The modern creature is a wage earner living in an environment where you are to pay for everything. He or she is the pins and wheels of money economy. You and those who have their own land are truly blessed.

It is also true of religions. Belief systems are hard to change and tend towards tribalism. Conflicts by religions are well recorded in history. The challenge today for any religion is to respect other religions and live together in the common belief of peace for all. Respect for all.

This is what i call accepting others as they are without trying to change them the way i want them to be. When we accept things as they are, we develop unconditional love, compassion, understanding for ourselves and others. And where there is love, there is beautiful, joyful, interesting life. This talk is so good. It relieve me from sufferings created by my holding on to the idea that i am right, others wrong, creating pride, loneliness, isolation, blaming, judging instead of forgiving them, accepting them, learning new things from them in order to live a free, fearless , beauiful life full of friendliness and fun. Learning new things in life everyday, accepting differences in life, in others, will open my mind and my heart to LOVE, PEACE, FORGIVENESS AND POWER. When we are not afraid of differences, we are powerful to create a better life. Buddha taught the same thing: no duality. Everything is Dharma. 😊
