I was actually able to convince my husband that I had to add to my stash to make my crafting as cost effective as possible! I mean, it’s true…as long as you can find your stuff amid your hoarding pile! 😂

This was my first time watching your video. My parents were antique dealers and I always watched my mom redo furniture especially oak. Alot of work involved. You're amazing and I'm so amazed with your work and the prices are unbelievably reasonable. I'm a fan now

I really appreciate the fact that you teach everyone all of these “tricks” on how to repair/refurbish certain items... *7:44 Like using a coat of shellac on the MDF first... Because, if it didn’t come out right for me, I would have assumed it was me painting wrong or something like that. I recently used your technique of painting a rather large (36” X 48”) Baroque Style Frame. Flat Black, Clear Polyurethane and then a White Chalk Paint and finishing with a Wax to seal it the Chalk Paint. It came out so beautiful! It was a tarnished Gold color and l was going to toss it in the bin. Thank goodness for you and your Channel, Thank you Yvonne! ♥️👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Truth... about a year ago in Central Florida I bought a white wicker desk with the chair at a goodwill in the Winter Park area. Sat in Garage for another six months. And the other day as I as figuring what and where I it would go, I noticed an envelope, stuck upside down in the bottom drawer. It was the same color as the bottom of the drawer and easily missed. And when I took the envelope out, inside was a certificate from 1995 from a lady in the area that had passed her breast feeding certification course for the birth of her child. Too cool. So I hesitated on whether I should try to find this person and just knock on her door and say 'hi how's the little one?' . Since 1995. And on the certificate was her full name and her address and the date. Hmmm. But being weird and not a stalker, I said to myself, 'hell, what's the worst that can happen?" I'm going to try to find her - I think I'm going to try to do this. And a few weeks ago I found the lady. And she just laughed and as totally shocked. But thought it was wonderful. And how sweet it was for me to bring back such great memories. We didn't hug because we weren't supposed to. But we jumped around and laughed. That was just as good. So you never know what kind of joy is going to come from some of these finds . But that was one of my better ones. I must admit.

Love that you’re actually upcycling and not just repainting things that were fine to begin with. Maybe too much time spent on removing labels, but the end results were worth it!

I love how you did a bunch of similar items at one time. Personally, I liked almost all of the items BEFORE the extras were added... except for the doily stencil (which was fabulous) and the black tray with the scrapbook paper (loved that). It's nice to watch you just try stuff like we do at home, and use whatever you have on hand. I'll definitely be looking up more of your videos! 🤍

The lazy susan with the white flowers and the little bee, was my favorite. One time when you use the bee stamp paint in a dashed line like it's the bee's flight path- just for grins and giggles. Your creations are beautiful.

I probably would not have bought that red cake stand, but you made it look amazing. I have never done grain sack stripes but I am looking so forward to giving it a try. Yvonne.... Yvonne... this grouping was SENSATIONAL ! You never fail to amaze me with your work !!!! Those Doilies as stencils ...WOW!!!!!! WOW!!! Target Dollar Spot Easter trays....... WOW! Then the box trays... the letter one and the AMAZING LITTLE ONE with the textured scrapbooking paper.... I AM IN AWE WITH THESE !!!! Love how you found the personal note on the lazy Suzan.... hope someone finds it again someday ! I did that with a picture for my Pastor... maybe when I’m dead and gone and HE IS OLD.. he may find it 🤷‍♀️ This is in my top 5 videos for AMAZING TURNOUTS ! I’m still saying WOW!!! LOL!!!! Have to say what a fabulous job n ideas you did on these trays n lazy susans but all time favorite was the tray with the stamp letter with the grain sack stripe. I always love your work. You are so creative and change up the designs for each piece. I also love that when you make your work it’s always if you don’t like it you can always redo the piece. The shaped tray with black handles was my favourite. The textured paper looks like mini metal tiles from antique ceilings--nice vintage hint. The grain stripes are always classy!

You are such a good teacher and so I hope this tip might work for you. Try spray painting the doily as a stencil. I used to do it that way on throw pillows. Maybe try it on some paper first. Good luck 🤗

I love the "Paris" style decorated pieces. And your pricing is reasonable! I was doing a project at work that allowed me to watch this. Thought to myself, I'm actually sitting here at work watching paint dry! :-) I'm impressed with the layers and colors to get the finished affect. Excellent!
