OK images my arse Gary, they are beautiful as always and the monos are just magic. I work in any light as there is always something to record regardless and as you said the fun of it too. Go out in all light it's all a learning curve and important to learn. I had flat light at Loch Doon but learned from that converting to BW which I love anyway perhaps more than colour. Lovely images btw.

I take photos in any light condition (I’m not saying they are exceptional 😮). On one of my recent walks up beside Fionn Loch the mountain range was clouded with light filtering through and I immediately decided they would be a black and white once home and into Lightroom. I think they worked and if I had room on any wall in my home I’d print out ~ these were nearly all photomerge panos. Flat light as you put it now you mention; must admit it does result in me thinking differently about how I take the shots and at the same time I’m visualising how I’m going to edit. The whole process is my enjoyment (be it camera in hand or in my drone). Liked your images ✅

I find with these sort of images I seem to try to make them NOT flat light when editing but isn't that the point of editing? Saying that I had a great time at Porty beach with a small crop sensor camera on just such a day, no tripod only a clamp thingy to attach my camera to a a rock.
