This is the third video subject from the same project I'm working on. I thought I'll just make videos separately about the interesting elements of this build. I think raised panels are one of them!

Dear Szilard, wow! I have been a professional carpenter and joiner for 40 years and I never thought of making raised and fielded panels like that! Well done and thank you for sharing your skills!

This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection kzfaq.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seem to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.

Great job! Table saw is a huge part of wood working. Made my raised panels on my mothers hutch that I made in high school in 1974. It's still solid.

I've use a similar method when I make tops for decorated boxes. I got tired of looking up my routers, finding the wrenches and looking for the correct bit. The table saw is what I turn to now as I haven't lost it yet! LOL

I do this sometimes instead of using the wood shaper but first I make a tall MDF auxiliary fence that captures the top and two sides of the table saws standard fence. I add a vertical stop for the panel to square up against and slide the entire fence and panel forward into the blade to make the cut. It's basically a 16''vertical sliding panel jig that's fast, accurate and safe.
