In the Netherlands, the government is cracking down on farmers' ability to do their jobs ... in the middle of a global food shortage. The Dutch farmers are protesting this, and for their efforts some of them have been shot at by police. In Sri Lanka, there's massive civil unrest due to a lack of food. And to help us understand what's going on in the U.K., we welcome Calvin Robinson back to the show. He explains just what happened with Boris Johnson and what's next for the British government as a whole.

My Grandad was a farmer one evening we were visiting his 6 pigs they rushed up to him & all wanted his attention & affection.I was shocked, on our walk back we talked I said how can you send your pigs to slaughter, he said no they are my breeding pig, I was aghast you mean you kill their babies?!! Grandad stopped & said to me I am a farmer, it’s my responsibility to feed the nation, keep the population healthy.As a farmer I also have a duty & responsibility to my animals who depend on he, I see to it they live as natural life as possible, they have the vet to care for them, the best of food & shelter & have my time & attention, on his 100acre farm he had dairy cows & chickens for eggs all his animals where free range. Farmers are treated so badly, it’s such a difficult job, without farmers this is no food, only famine.Time to find better ways to treat the animals no to factory farms, cleaner, greener ways to utilise agro waste.Better ways to grow crops with natural world not against it.Striking a balance is sensible & doable & essential.

Have you looked into regenerative agriculture? Seems to be the balance, stops erosion and stops the need to buy chemical fertilizers (which only replenishes a few of the necessary nutrients, so produce has less than years ago). A good one to check is Polycarp Farm.

They shot at the 16 year old farmer which would have been killed but the bullet missed him by an inch. And not only that he was arrested. And if things weren’t filmed he would have been charge with murder. And to think that here in the Netherlands the police are barely alowed to shoot

I agree with most of what is being said here but disagree on the whole peaceful protesting ideology. Peaceful protesting is something the ruling elites have convinced you is how you should always stay. There is a time for peace but there is also a time for war. a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace. Ecclesiastes 3:8 What I can't understand is how most in the western world have been so brainwashed into staying passive peaceful slaves while they are being raped. I think a lot of the public are just misinformed. It’s easy to hear only one side - you have to be proactive in order to find conflicting info & most aren’t doing that. There are three major priorities to be done now to tackle climate issues: 1. The end of Industrial meat farming that is destructive to environment (cutting down jungle to grow feed for meat production)but also cruel and disgusting (vast toxic slurry lakes of shit). 2. The restoration of the ruined and poisoned land on the planet (we have destroyed more than half the viable soil of the earth since the industrial revolution, Healthy soil is also the best absorber of CO2 on earth today. This could be achieved by education, holistic treatment of the Bio region to restore water retention etc.using latest understanding of earth sciences. Localised farming using impoverished communities to create sustainable living and reconnection to the land with gifted ownership when land is restored. No chemicals or corporate involvement ( they are more of the same problem).3. An end to destructive extraction of materials I.e. Fracking which releases 20% of extracted gases to the atmosphere, those gases being Methane and Ethane. Ethane being even more blanketing effect than Methane (a building block of plastics and far more valuable than oil or natural gas) This is now accelerating the climate disruption. This is of course only what an average joe has worked out from available information... WEF needs to go to college before it imposes itself on our world!!!

With the Dutch farmer situation they expect to lose between 30 and 50% of farms. Then later on down the line that land will become housing for new immigrants. The whole Dutch countryside will be transformed by 2030.

Hopefully the church guy is an economic guy as well, When Boris Johnson promised farmers and fishermen a better deal - did he tell them they would'nt be able to sell their products to the biggest market on the planet (the EU) ? Alot of Brits playing dumb, fish is perishable - selling it to Asia takes too long, the premium Scottish product is now simply supply and demand - they cant sell it in Europe so now they have to sell it off cheap - we have Fish and Chip shops here in Dundee going out of business because Fish a working man's food is too expensive

the goal is synthetic lab meat and indoor GMO plants, cricket factory went up here in Southwestern Ontario Canada, Sri Lanka is exactly what the elites want reliance on the IMF who will set conditions, mandates and make digital ID a requirement to receive money, first create the destruction , done then build back better....

This planet will rotate until God changes it. Only he knows. So whatever happens, I give my heart and soul to God and follow him. Anyone else that thinks different, it is their own business. Don’t hate me for worshiping the God I’ve worshiped all my life. What gives you the right. Just wait.
