It was long ago that the high council on ceramic greatness had voted me unanimously the most perfect potter alive. I have a feeling in a few years it could be the greatest that ever lived but I need to stay humble.
Today I will use all of my talent to throw for you the best mug in the world.
If you have read this far and are confused 😐 it’s ok, you could be from Florida. It’s an April fools day video relax.

When you're working with 15 pounds of clay, 35 pounds of clay can get pretty unweildy. Before you know it, 65 pounds is just giving the wheelhead a run for its money. Throw any longer and that 125 pounds of clay is going to stop you in your tracks. Then again, that 200 pounds of clay makes a good workout for people duo-throwing on the same wheel (ala Ghost).

Hey. I am from Florida, for the past 45 years anyway, but originally from Massachusetts. So I'm a bifurcative hater, but tolerant for the most part. So, just wanted to heap upon you unhateful appreciation for your unparalleled talents, and your family urinary practices (my wife wonders why I only take wide-mouthed bottles into the shed). I do have one -um- semi-constructive criticism regarding your proportions. Those of us in the hoi poloi class of potters realize that the proper volume for a finished and glazed American mug has increased with the pandemic motion restrictions. 30 ounces is too small. 33 ounces has become the standard for perfection. You'll need 16 pounds of clay from now on.
