Stumble upon this channel a few days ago because I was sick of spending $$$ fixing my Traxxas rc cars. YT search for budget RCs and this channel had a bunch of content for that. And now I cant stop binging channel for his other content.

Pure backyard scientist vibes! What a brilliant little creation. Personally, I would live to see how the small tires with a 16t pinion would perform. The extra wheel speed, might give you the air control you like, while maintaining drifting characteristics.

My 16th scale HBX, I got different plans, I'm going the other way, I want to narrow it down and put smaller wheels, and a buggy body... Love this one, got a few of these cars, and there all still running. HBX plastic are great. The stub axle not so much…. But a light weight car handle the hits and don’t hurt much when you kid slams on into your foot. Going to be a fun season for ya.😊

Brilliant of you to show how longer/wider chassis with best-of components makes such a great truck. Seems a LOT like the HBX 903a, which we've been having a blast with. Welcome your thoughts on what to upgrade on the 903a. I don't want to hurt diffs & gears, so likely staying 2S and stock wheel/tire setup unless you recommend an upgrade path on controller & batteries that fit. Thanks for the great content.

damn man your gonna cost me a fortune. The 30amp hobbywing ESC was finally tried today with a 3s 1300mah battery. First problem....the battery looked like it would fit until i put it next to my fc600 and realised there was no way. That was annoying as I thought if I can squeeze a 2s 1800mah in then a 3s 1300mah should be fine.....NOPE! I just jammed it under the body and it sufficed for a test. Holy 'stuff' it flies. The 30amp hobbywing had no issues so I guess 30amp on 1/16 is fine as long as it is quality. Yes your build is pretty cool, it must be nice to have endless donor cars to rob. I would like to see it with short arms as well or are there no 'mid' arms? You can double up the shocks at the back, front and back of the rear arms. I bought some replacement wheels/tyres + a Pickup body (yellow with black wheels) and now i need the body mounts and I have suddenly realised I had spent £30 and I could have bought a entire brushed car with the body I wanted for £60. I really should have just done that for spares even if plastic, hindsight is a wonderful thing. I was trying to see from your video if i could reverse the side my servo is. I think it looks like a yes just need to fix it down. That is one way i could get battery space. I need one of those battery trays 3d printed that I found on internet. Anyone in UK willing to print me one or two....or three? ill cover costs with paypal of course.

Epic. Such great attention to detail, both on the truck and the video. I picked up one of these little go-getters after seeing your reviews, and have been extremely impressed with it. My stock springs are all leaking and its spinning out real easy now. I want to pimp it out like this with the wider arms and bigger wheels. Seems like the bigger wheels help the most with clearance and general bashability, is it worth getting another set that isn't so grippy, maybe a bit thinner width or harder compound? I'd love to know what the power to weight ratio before and after. Can't wait to see where it ends up!

I’m in Canada and looking to pick up a couple for me and my son to use and upgrade to brushless down the road when he gets some practice driving on the brushed setup, but I’m having trouble finding anything here or somewhere that will ship to Canada for a reasonable price.

I'm brand new to the hobby and your videos are honestly some of the best and most informative. Your editing skills are top notch. I ended up getting a couple amazon special hosim hb17's on sale (brushless mjx hypergo clones?) I already burned out a steering servo on one, do you know of any aftermarket servo that fits the hypergo hosim Chassis? Or is sticking with oem the best bet?

Can you put it on original suspension and wheels and tires? With longer chassis I would like to see if that makes a huge difference in the way it handles
