I’ve always wondered why people considered the Amazing Fantasy one of the best Spider-Man figures when Renew Your Vows exists, but combining both together would just create the Ultimate Spider-Man figure

Cause the amazing fantasy has better proportions and has superior articulation but both of them are worse than the mafex tho not by much

Better sculpt/proportions than RYV by far, still not perfect but way better than previous Spider-Man efforts by Hasbro, toe joints are a very niche use case as well

Renew Your Vows Spider-Man just lacks in articulation compared to the Retro Spider-Man and Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man. Design/aesthetic + sculpt/proportion wise, it's not even a competition, Renew Your Vows Spider-Man easily got it. To be fair, in my opinion, all 3 Spider-Man figures (Retro, Amazing Fantasy & Renew Your Vows) are all definitive Spider-Man figures with almost equal pros & cons....

Yes!, it’s the same body mold so it will work

That's the figure I used, and it works exactly the same, only tho it looks abit weird because the webbing for the feet are abit thicker than the amazing fantasy spidermans webbing on the suit, but regardless, it still looks amazing

Marvel legends ( you don’t have to agree) do what SH figuarts did with the torso so the figure has better leg movement

To make it even better but far more riskier you can pop the two lower half’s of spidey to dremel or sand some material off and for the upper half that connects to the torso shave off some more material for a better crunch too. My favorite thing to do with these figures

Yea there is a video on KZfaq that is a full length tutorial that shows you how to get way more out of the torso but it is pretty hard to do

Yeah but you have to Crack the figure to open it up which is a long process and its pretty hard so that's why people don't do it
