This a quick video on how to make tinted lip balm. I'll also share my recipe for this tinted lip balm. I love how the lip balm glides on smoothy and with a glossy finish leaving a very nice colour on the lips.
Recipe for this tinted lip balm:
20% Cocoa Butter
20% Shea Butter
20% Beeswax
20% Olive Oil
20%Castor Oil
0.2g-0.4g Lip Safe Mica
This lip balm is on the softer side producing a very sheer, glossy finish close to a lip gloss. If you want to make the colour more vibrant, you can simply add more colour. Other ways to make the colour pop is to use more beeswax at 40% and less castor oil at 5%. If you want a matte finish, do not use castor oil.

You can also add essential oils/flavouring oils at the end. If you use essential oils, add them when the oils cool down a bit to prevent denaturing it! It is a great idea to reuse your soap scraps to clean your pots. You can use soap scraps and melt it in hot water - this hot soapy water cleans the pot squeaky clean! You can also melt melt and pour soap and make new soaps from the wax! I have showed the process in the previous video as well!
