That was so fun and informative ! Thanks for the inspiration Elizabeth. I have a shelf full of this beautiful paper and that is another great idea that I can help me use some of it up. Thanks again

Never thought to paint the papers before hand, I usually paste them down then paint. I'm excited to try this, thank you! Oh, loved how the white on white paper turned out 😮💟

What a great idea. Could the bleed through pattern from the first paper be captured on the white pattern paper? This is what makes the paper painting process so fun....one thing leads to another.....A endless journey of discovery.....Thanks for sharing....mraz

Does it have to be paper from a real art supply store? I live in the middle of nowhere. When I go to my daughters she has a micheals and a hobby lobby. But no art supply shops. Would their scrapbooking papers work for this? I’m on a very fixed income so I only shop online or at her house. Too far and gas is too expensive for good options

Good stuff! Could you tell us where you got the decorative papers?
@ElizabethStHilaire4 жыл бұрын
as I explained, I purchase most of them in person in art supply stores. there are some on my Amazon art supply page as well www.amazon.com/shop/paper-pai...

Very cool. Is this the same paper you use for scrap booking?
@ElizabethStHilaire2 жыл бұрын
I do not do scrap booking
@JCmercy4me2 жыл бұрын
@@ElizabethStHilaire no I did not ask you that. I said is it the same kind of paper you are talking about? Thanks
@ElizabethStHilaire2 жыл бұрын
@@JCmercy4me decorative papers are purchased in the art supply store, typically they are in flat file drawers or displayed on a rack. I’m not sure if people use them for scrapbooking or not. Hope that helps.
@JCmercy4me2 жыл бұрын
@@ElizabethStHilaire thanks. I don’t do scrapbooking. I just wanted to know if the scrapbook paper is the same. Here’s a question. How long and how wide is this paper you use? The scrapbook paper is 12” x 12”. The closest to and art store around here is Hobby Lobby or Joan’s. 🤗
@ElizabethStHilaire2 жыл бұрын
@@JCmercy4me I’m not sure the size. It’s definitely not 12x12 hobby lobby paper. It’s from fine art supply and large sheets like 20x24 or larger.
