Good question. I always go by the length and angle of bill. Most deep divers have a long bill I have always thought. Angle of bill matters also. Just guessing. I'm with you. Good question.

The one for sealing the wood is watery so it actually penitrates the wood before it dries. The other epoxy is a fast cure epoxy. So it can be sanded and evend out quicker and the final epoxy to seal the paint would be a longer cure self leveling epoxy to ensure the whole lure is coated evenly as it dries.

Well, I have very limited experience with snakeheads for now. And it is all about topwater lures: plugs, spooks, buzzbaits and frogs. Snakeheads stay close to the surface much of the spring and summer, so frogs are an ideal choice.

Спасибо! Ну тайн я не делаю, цель и была поделиться процессом. По поводу покраски - камера своенравничала вне помещения, несколько скомкано получилось. Краски - любые полиуретановые для аэрографии, конкретно в этом ролике - Createx, отечественные Эксмикс, где-то даже разведённый акрил есть. А вот по номерам сказать не смогу, т.к. чаще всего получаю нужные оттенки, смешивая базовые цвета, как в прозрачных, так и в укрывистых красках.

@@kcamtg Я понимаю, что сода и циакрин делают очень хорошее соединение, но не все об этом знают :-) Мне лично интересны смолы. Эпоксидка 5-ти минутная и общая, когда модель вращалась. Кстати, об этом столике тоже можно сделать видео. Все понимают, что там моторчик, но как он вращает... А вообще действительно очень красиво Вы делаете. Надо быть немного художником, чтобы так сделать. Я пока ... увы..., но очень хочется.

@@anovozhilov Спасибо!) Для вклейки лопасти и петель: Пятиминутный эпоксидный клей Bison. Здесь нет каких-либо предпочтений, это обычная пятиминутка, стабильная по качеству и немного капризная к пропорциям/перемешиванию. Хорошо клеит разнородные материалы, поликарбонат необходимо предварительно обрабатывать наждачной бумагой. Финиш: Из двухкомпонентных покрытий предпочитаю GlassCast 3 Clear, но именно эту приманку покрывал Envirotex Lite High Gloss Finish. Он неплохой, но с особенностями, обычно стараюсь его не использовать. Микропузыри удаляются горелкой, здесь важен именно углекислый газ, не нагрев, поэтому лучше не использовать фен - только пыль надуется. А нагрев бонусом добавляет текучести покрытию, как раз для вращающейся сушилки.

I use cheapest epoxy resin with PEPA (polyethylene polyamine) hardener. Normally curing time is about 24h, but heat trick is the way to reduce it to one hour

Hi. Well, balsa is mushy and too soft. I very much prefer the lime / linden wood, because it's harder, stronger, and can take detail really well.

I did not loss any fish due to the failure of the twisted wire eyelet. Glued twisted wire eyelets work well and (in contrast to closed screws) can be adapted to any length easily

I don't see how a fish could pull one out. Reel's have drags for a reason, play the fish. Tests have been done on these eyes and the strength of them is plenty high.
