How to make 2" wooden shallow diving crankbaits.

I will show you how to make a shallow diving crank bait about 2 inches in size that is ideal for bass and trout fishing.
Last year I made a 1 inch size shallow diving crankbait. So this year I increased the body size to 2 inches and added a rattle.

Stainless steel wire: 0.8 mm.
Aluminum sheet: 0.3 mm.
Split shot sinker (Weight): 3 g.
Split shot sinker (Rattle): 0.5 g.

что было под рукой,наверно.Отожгите на подходящей оправке ПЭТ бутылку феном.Крепкая штука получается.Зайдите на рыболовный канал А.Милькина,там всё подробно описано.Кстати, там много чего интересного есть.Просто вбейте в поиск Ю-Тьюб *самодельные приманки для рыбалки*,или что-то подобное.....Удачи.

Hello!. Thanks for your message. I use FR-4 plates because they are easier to cut than plastic (Polycarbonate). Another advantage is that FR-4 is harder than plastic, so the lure swims correctly even if the lure lip is thinner.

Thank you for your message. The scroll saw I use is the Asahi-koki "AF-eco" model. I live in Japan, so I chose a Japanese made machine in case I need to have it repaired. What is that tool you use to make holes for the weight?

Hello! Thanks for your question. My tool for making holes for weights is called a "Round hole drive punch" or "Leather hole punch". This tool is originally used to make holes in leather belts. If the tip is sharpened with a file before use, it will make a smooth hole in balsa wood.
