Makita 2704N table saw
7 Smart ideea for oyur Garage : • 7 Amazing Ideas To Mak...
From the opening to the first test I was deeply impressed by this truly professional table saw !
In the product description and manual it appears that it can cut up to a maximum of 93mm but in reality the cutting blade of only 260mm can easily cut over 95mm. It's amazing when the vast majority of products on the market, even those that are 5 times more expensive, can't cut even 90mm.
For me, the Makita 165w 2704N is the perfect model and will meet all my plans!
I've been looking for a cutting table for weeks, but it seems that this not only convinced me but also impressed me a lot with the protection systems it has!
Table circular saw with large work table made of die-cast aluminum. Soft start-up. Anti-restart function. Workbench can be extended to the right and rear via telescopic extension.
Makita 2704N table circular saw 260/93 mm
A very accurate table saw from Makita. 2704N table circular saw is efficient with a 1650W motor and revolutions of 4800 min-1 for professional use! The saw also has a robust guide rail at the front and rear.
The maximum saving depth is 93 mm at an angle of 90 degrees and 64 mm at an angle of 45 degrees. The maximum cutting width is 65 cm.
Other user advantages are the soft start-up of the saw and the work table, which can be extended to the right and back via telescopic pull-outs.
Included in the purchase is also an HM blade, parallel stop, angle stop and feed pin. The chassis is not included.

hey there ! thank you for the really nice video ! I would just like to add a small tip since you said it's one of your first machines for wood. I'm buying this machine as well and I'm not sure if it's included but even if not it would be very easy to make one with the machine itself : if you cut without holding the "off cut" (the right part) you should have something to create a space between the part and your fence (usually a small block between the fence and your material) to avoid the kickback and eventually getting the off cut thrown back at you (which can sometimes hurt !). also when your hand is closer than 4-5 cm from the blade use that black plastic to push it. you should have one for forward pressure and one for lateral pressure just in case ! thank you for the video !

Thank you very much for these words! It seems that the side part already comes with this I probably omitted to present, that it can be set depending on what we cut if it is long or short it can be moved and adjusted to your liking ... I will come back with a video in which I will present more this and other details that I am extremely excited about this machine that I use weekly for various projects.

Thank you for the advice ! That's what I do now ... at first, for the first use, since it's my first cutting table, I didn't even know much about it. But today I can say that I am extremely satisfied and delighted with its quality.

There doesn't seem to be a difference between them but I think the 2704N is an upgrade but I can't find the 2704 model in my country so I can compare them. I am extremely excited about this table more than I can expect considering that a 260mm blade can actually cut over 100mm!

When I made that video, it was the first time in my life that I used this type of equipment. Thank you very much for this information, which is otherwise very useful and very helpful in this job that I practice with passion. Later, I noticed this and it is practically appropriate that the blade should not be too much higher than the cut wood.

At 20:00 you are doing a super dangerous cut. NEVER ever use the mitre gauge and fence at the same time. It is the most common cause of kick back.. Just a friendly advice.

Yes, thank you very much for your thoughtful message! I am a beginner and yes ... a little later I realized how dangerous it is to use the products without knowing how to do it correctly! So I'm still documenting myself and using KZfaq instructors to educate myself to use in the future! I thank you for your time!
