Spend 399 last week for first try. Nozzle for weed should not use blue one, manual advise use black one. Well good for my entire complex weed only need refill once. Before I need 6 times with my 5L one. Strap is quite comfortable.

Only just saw this on the shelves here in Oz. I was borderline adding the Milwaukee battery system to my already overpopulated battery landscape but this will save me. A bit of a win actually as this bare is about 2kg lighter than the switch tank contraption from Milwaukee and when you consider their removable tanks are only marginally cheaper that the entire Makita sprayer, this becomes a financial win for any exiting Makita 18V users.

The wand clip disappeared on my first outing...damn. Works well, but wish they had an adjustible cone tip along with the stock wide fan.

Any idea how much water is left once the pump starts sucking are, heard a different types can leave a fair amount in the tank still

No idea what the use of the valve Underneath is. My in tank filter corroded a bit (not so stainless metal, and I have opened it to see and cleaned out the check valve etc but still won't pull anything through. Interesting to see that the knob as it's called in parts list is another option for the pump the pull from from the looks of it, as the line I to pump goes through it. Weird nothing is mentioned in the specs, need to check the manual.

Been waiting to see if makita are going to release a backpack sprayer. How does it go with emptying the tank? The solo one I am using starts having trouble picking up liquid once it gets down to about a litre.

All of the electric pump sprayers clear out most of the tank, afaik. Whereas all of the manual pumps leave a pint or so, afaik.

Actually my only use case to use a sprayer is to spray the walls to loosen the wallpaper glue get rid of the old wallpapers 😎 Works really perfect especially when you use hot water.

LOL spraying Ivy will just make it grow faster. I have seen leaves that were separated from the plant for over 12 months strike roots and grow. I have seen a little bit left on a wall after the main plant was removed grow 200mm down to find dirt. The stuff is the cockroach of the plant world. Any gardener that is thinking of introducing it into a clean yard should have to spend a day digging it out. All that said how easy is it to remove the pump? can you even access it without getting wet up to the elbow?

@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL I just saw that it was announced at a USA tool fair. GSH05 so prob HS005G for us. Washer looks big so I don't think it'll have the same depth of cut as the HS002G. Doesn't look to be track compatible. They say mid 2023 release, but that's for USA

I doubt you'll need the extra pressure the 40v would provide. The main difference between the 18v 5ah battery and a 40v 2.5ah is in series vs parallel. 18v 5ah is plenty of power for a lower pressure at long run time.

@@derekperez1418 the only thing i dont get is, IF it can work for such long time with one battery, then it means it does not have some PRESTIGIOUS TURBO engine, and beside that limpy engine, its basically a plastic container that has a spraying hose. SO THE QUESTION IS, why the f*ck does it costs 300 euros, WHY ????. I paid makita cordless chainsaw and cordless angle grinder 300 euros, YES, DUC353 and DGA513 combined are less expensive than this sprayer, like wtf man. What the actual f*ck has makita thinking putting 300 euros price on it, are they mental ???

@@i1bike no, look at their main competitions prices and designs. Milwaukee has a flawed leaky removable tank design for a little more. Seems to me Makita at least spent the time on R&D and QC to make a product that's more reliable and safe.

And this is cheap, here in europe its 280 euros for the sprayer. Abnormally expensive, i paid chainsaw and brushcutter less than this thing is. Super overpriced
