That ceremonial one reminds me of the stuff I saw where archers in other series performed exorcisms. It's why I'm not surprised Makoto was using more magic oriented attacks from it.

@@yuuichi949 Yumi just means bow. But nowadays it specifically refers to the type of bow used by samurai.

Yumi is bow in Japanese and an azusa yumi is a sacred bow used in certain Shinto rituals in Japan.

He doesn't need to take it off. The rings are supposed to keep the aura in and keep minimal mana discharge. Since he developed the Materialized mana armor, he learned to utilized massive amount of mana at once, so with or without the rings, he's just as powerful.

Maybe we will get to see Shiki's repayment for Sealy protecting the Priestess in the anime in the last episode. With the amount of stuff left in the novel before the next arc begins.

@@qhayiyadantile3208 yea, there are 2 POV chapters related to Sealy - one is POV of Sealy himself - his death and what he saw after becoming the sword, and the other is Shikis POV taking care of Sealys family in Rotsgard. There is a lot of material they could possibly show in the last episode, but I wish they spare few minutes to show that Shiki knew how important Sealys sacrifice was, and, unlike Hibiki, he was grateful for it.

holy magic can be very deadly to undead. Elden Ring has a monster called Cemetery Shade. It is a boss monsters and one holy attack kills it one shot. so Shiki could have died with one blow or the holy AOE like a dark attack Miasma holy version

tbh, from the moment he got his mana armor, the rings are pure cosmetic and he then uses them as explosives forr his arrows, he uses his power Sakai to conceal his armor and in that also his mana, to teh point people are lead to think he has no mana, Makoto mana pool is fucking massive

Many viewers still forgot that Makoto was granted a powers surpassing a goddess by Tsukuyomi

episode one season one almost as strong as the goddess and now even more powerful Makoto is like a an engine odometer every rebirth broke the measurement so the scroll glitched and just displays zero or level 1

probaly Rayne Lancer was almost killed by Sofia without all her power ups and maybe Lancer is much weaker than shown
