Let us all remember that out of the three protagonists, Makoto is the only one using a real weapon. Yu uses a fake sword that's meant for collection/decoration purposes and Akira's weapons are a knife and model gun that only work because of being in the cognitive world. Makoto has a real sword.

The winner only depends on what game they are in because *PROTAGONIST* power means not losing(unless the game demands it)

I feel like they should make these two boss fights way harder, like the difficulty of lavenza or the demifiend from smt v, they feel like normal shadows. Either that or Makoto and Yu get to take their team to the battle.

I like the fact that Minato has Siegfried and Attis, implying he "formed an unbreakable bond" with Maiko, the 6 year old girl with family problems and either Yuko or Koromaru. I wonder how's Maiko doing with her mother after all these years, thinking about Maiko's future due to her short age is my headcanon on why he has her SL's persona with him

I feel as if Makoto/Minato and Yu were being called at some point in time out of their timelines to help the Phantom Thieves Makoto/Minato is supposed to help make their resolves stronger emotionally as S.E.E.S. had to do for themselves Yu's purpose is instead of just reaching out to the truth also guide them to the truth as well to help make their choices in reality much clearer as Yu had to for the investigation club at the ending point in their timeline I believe Makoto's/Minato's and Yu's purpose of battling with the Phantom Thieves to make sure they're decisions are clear and making sure they're on the right path
