MH are waiting for their new A330 Neo to come this year to replace the aging A330-300. Hopefully it will not get delayed.

tq for your efforts despite the difficukties along the way. You overheard the cabin crew "snapping" at a passenger who asked for her vegetarian neal about 20-30mins after the first serving? ( As you mentioned,she was feeding her child and was rightfully, logical to decline receiving her vegetarian meal at THAT moment. To viewers, any cabin crew who SNAPS out ( unreasonably) at any passenger,warrants an explanation! So sad to hear this! Hopefully,THAT cabin crew,should realise that her Snapping out at a Mother who had been already stressed out feeding her child, onboard,can rethink of her "explosive actions" witnessed by some surrounding passengers!

Hi David thanks for watching and commenting! There has been some litigation over this incident amongst the viewers regarding the FA snapping at the passenger in question. Some have argued that there is an operational reason behind meals being reheated after the first service (while this might differ from airline to airline). I agree with you however that the FA shouldn’t have snapped at the passenger. It isn’t a good look for the airline. I’m sure some customer service training can remedy this. My first time watching your excellent review and now I have subscribed. You speak very clearly which I appreciate. I will consider flying MH again when they update their fleet to Australia but currently I prefer Singapore Airlines whose quality of service is top level.

I just did this mh148 yesterday on the a350 as i fly this flight almost every year and the 350 was so much better than the 330 but you cant beat the landings on the 330 “

hi did you check in a bag? Where they strict with the weight? How would you rate the food and customer service from one to ten? The rice and chicken looks delicious...

Hi there, yes I did have checked bag. Funnily there was plenty remaining on the checked bag allowance but they were still strict about the fact that I was a few kg over the on-board allowance which is fair enough. Customer service for this sector was amazing. Smiles all around and very attentive service. Can’t say the same for the return sector though sadly. Food was amazing. Hope this helps. You did not specify dates, times , and flight numbers: this in itself spoils the entire objective of the commentary. Typically third world in the degree of imprecision.

No matter how old an aircraft is, there can never be excuses for not maintaining cleanliness. Toilets and toliet floors must be kept really clean. Otherwise the image will shatter. Politeness is also important. Select crews who are able to be pleasant under all circumstances..

The cleanliness of any airplane is judged by its dirtiest toilet. The dirty toilets you highlighted is the standard feature of MH. That is one of the main reasons why I stopped flying with MH.

I just wanted to highlight the following in regard to MH, in a bid to clarify certain concerns you have brought up regarding the cleanliness of lavatories. Yes, this is an essential factor for an airline, specially when evaluating the long haul product offerings. However, I took 4 flights with MH to film this series, and this was the only flight where this condition on the lavatory was evident. character and behavior displayed by crew is largely due to deteriorational education system in the country. generally people of malaysia are in their good behavior brought about by traditional family upbringing.

MH A330’s fleets is too old and will be retire soon and replace by A330Neo. hopefully the delivery of the new aircraft didn’t get any delay.

Aircraft late in => not cleaned well - not really excusable leaving this to the crew to do as they have to handle food etc. Will look forward to the A350 much nicer cabin especially business class if I can offset the miles etc. Most flight experiences come down to how the crew handles everything and I've had both ends of the spectrum even in business class.

Hello and thanks for commenting, the aircraft not being cleaned is inexcusable. It is not the fault of a consumer when the in-bound aircraft from Auckland runs late. While I don’t expect cabin staff to clean the plane when it’s on the ground, I expect a better operation in process to get planes cleaned even if time is of the essence (as is often the case with commercial aviation). Airlines need to anticipate these factors. It is reasonable to expect the flight crew to clean a plane while it is in the air as my flight crew from MEL-KUL cleaned the toilets every 45 minutes. For context the MEL-KUL sector is around 8 hours. So why wasn’t the same level of efficiently maintained on the return ? Thanks for watching. Regards, Nilesh

Actually i love to travel in a Malaysian Airlines (MAS) is safer flight as for cleaning the aircraft they have cleaners to clean and sanitize the aircraft ..

I just wanted to address this, I seek permission directly from the Airline two weeks prior to my departure date, and I seek permission from the FA's on the day of my flight prior to filming. It is a shame that moody crew would ruin a flight. As for #PenGate that is just odd ! Also wondering why the inside of the toilet bowl had to be filmed ?

Moody crew exist on every airline. It’s a bit of a hit or miss when flying. Yeah I was surprised they took the pens back lol. Re the lavatory footage, I felt it I was making bold claim about how filthy the toilets were, I may as well back it up with the footage. But perhaps it was too graphic haha! @@budakNAKAL6969 Hey mate, thanks for watching. Just a couple of things: Most (if not all) full service Airlines in the region (Thai, SQ, QF etc), provide you with a pen if you ask for one. It seems trivial at first glance, but it is not a good look for a full service carrier. I had my own pen since I do travel frequently, but for less seasoned travellers, it is a reasonable request, in my opinion. Hope this clarifies. Best, Nilesh

Worst flight meals ever. Why they even bother providing them and save the money for cheapear airfares to become like scoot which i love. Shame that you chosen emergency seat thats opposite toilet .. noisy , traffic and unhygienic section.

@DodoJames-cm4io 0 seconds ago we flow with them once they were late taking off so we missed our connection flight we spent 12 hours of hell at their airport sending us from one counter to another. in our return we found out at the airport our flights were cancelled all together after 16 hours they gave us flights they refused us meals or hotel worse airline ever
