Penang is one of my favorite places; I was there about 3 weeks ago, but sadly back in the USA now awaiting my next visit... I was there on Malaysia Day weekend. And that explains why you are seeing so many Malaysian flags. Merdeka day celebrates their independence from Britain, and two weeks later is Malaysia Day which celebrates the states in Borneo joining the union. With those days and the upcoming general election, Malaysia flags are everywhere.

Business class on the train looks like it's worth it, if legs are as long as yours, be sure to choose business class! It can be seen that Georgetown is a multicultural city, and many Western-style buildings have Mandarin signboards, which is very interesting! That skywalk is scary, it seems you have to have a strong heart to walk on it! Looking forward to the next video, thanks a lot for sharing! 👍😄🙌

Actually a lot of foreign tourists, even some Malaysians easily confused by KL Sentral station and Kuala Lumpur station. The modern looking station you guys departed from is called KL Sentral, the most important and main station in the whole KL that connect with lots of different metro or commuter lines. The Kuala Lumpur station is actually the station you guys passed by at around 3:06 . That is an old colonial era station, it was the main railway station in KL in the past. But not anymore since KL Sentral station was constructed at 2001. When a lot of people book their tickets, they just thought "I want to start from/go to Kuala Lumpur" and just selected "Kuala Lumpur station" instead of "KL Sentral station" without giving much of a thought.

Wow, it seems that I just missed you both there in Penang and Kuala Lumpur as I just got back from there! It was a fun 2 weeks there. And BTW, why you saw so many flags is just because you just missed their Malaysia Day celebrated on every Sept 15. And also their Independence Day on every Aug 31st. I simply enjoy watching how you enjoying taking videos and exploring around city streets and their architectures and especially their local food delicacies. They got too many to indulge! Loved my stay there. ❤

We were in Penang last week and travelled to KL by bus. We would have done the train, but the ferry service doesn’t start until after that last morning train leaves Butterworth. The bus was a chore. Comfortable enough, but we left two hours late from Penang because our bus never showed up at the station in Komtar, so they had to struggle to figure out what to do. We were finally shuttled by another bus line to the main station at Sungei Nibang and put on a bus from a third company. Never again. If you return to Malaysia, Ipoh’s a neat place to check out. It’s about half way between Butterworth and KL. A number of interesting sites in and near town, along with close proximity to the Cameron Highlands, a beautiful area. Plus, in town, they have some excellent food places.

The Tao of Pooh, Benjamin Hoff uses the lowly and self-abnegating character from A. A. Milne's classics to proclaim the social, ecological, and spiritual wisdom inherent in Taoism. He respects Piglet as the only one of the Pooh characters "to change, to grow, to become more than he was in the first place." In contrast to the whining of Eeyore, the intellectualism of Owl, and the restlessness of Tigger, Piglet shows us "the power of the Sensitive, the Modest and the Small." These values - if only we heeded them - could make the world a less dangerous and destructive place. They offer an alternative to the bigger-is-better approach. This handy little volume includes illustrations from the original Pooh books, reflections on other characters, and the wisdom teachings of Taoism.
