Welcome to Dhigurah Island here in the smallest country in Asia - The Maldives! This vlog shares the highlights from our 5 nights here.
We swam with whale sharks, manta rays, a shark, and tons of colorful fish. We learned about fruit bats and almost got pooped on. And we provide you with some fun facts about the animals, island, and country as a whole. Enjoy!

Awesome... Please may I ask you how did you book whaleshark and Mantaray activities? I will be there in May and will really appreciate to do all these activities

Hi. Great vlog. Thank you! Can you please tell us how far was the boat ride for the Whale shark minute-wise? We were recommended to go to this island and we are trying to justify everything at the moment.

Hey, thanks! From Dhigurah, they mostly just circle the island and a couple nearby. Usually the whale sharks are quite close, so not much of a boat ride! Does that answer the question? I’ll also add that the boat ride to the Dhigurah is quite long from Male, I think it was at least a couple hours and I believe I mentioned that in the vlog

We've been to Fihalhohi last October(Greta house reef by the way!), went to the Whale shark search and it took us about 1,5 hours to get to the area where we started to circle around. That's why our great guide told us to get to the Dhigurah cause the Whale sharks would be way more accessable🙏🏻

Did you get to the island by yourself? Just leaving the airport and boarded a boat or booked a seat through the Guest house? I understand that the price of the boat is different. We plan to go to this island in 4 days
