@@ballsofsalsa01 I mean I kinda get why they started off where they did since they knew a good portion of the original cast wasn’t returning. So they kinda had to turn it into a mini series rather than continue where they left off, hence why Claire died, and characters like Sylar and Peter are “in hiding” even though they were known as some of the most powerful characters in the show. My thing was less about the plot which I agree was very off putting, but the FX somehow it got worse and in the original series it looked way better and that was all the way back in 2006. Which is crazy to me since you’d think in 2015 it would’ve improved.

@@Pleasestopnoguing it's part to part, for example, the darkness thingy looks alright for a TV show. 2022 CW shows, for example, have VFX on par with that darkness thingy or the greenscreens. True the actors weren't returning fully, but they can always take new people and call them by their old names. what I mean is how they ended Brave New World and wanted to continue (Tim Kring) before the cancelation, and once they get the chance to come back, he just ditches that brave new world and skips years into the future,leaving the best part, the introduction scene (which would have been volume 5) for the imagination

@@ballsofsalsa01 The VFX for Phoebe’s power was not all that great tbh, it reminds me of the vfx of the early 2000s or from a Disney show/movie. It all moved like one solid chunk as opposed to oozing out like a mystical fluid or essence like they were trying to go for. They probably didn’t recast since they knew og fans wouldn’t really like that and would sink the ratings further. (They only recast Molly since she was critical for the plot line and the original actress wasn’t available Plus she wasn’t a huge part of the main series as much as the others.) As for just continuing on with the previous story, I agree they could’ve but again without the original cast and them not wanting to recast the entire rest of the cast they couldn’t. I did however like that they kept the Ferris wheel scene from the last episode of the og series and they did kinda explain that in Claire exposing enhance humans that she caused them to be hunted down more than they already were being by Nathan from season 3. But I agree with you though, I would’ve loved to see characters like Sylar, Peter, Tracy, an other og faves on the run again after the events of the carnival. But I guess it makes sense with their previous brand of dropping entire storylines if you remember, in the earlier seasons they were supposed to go an entirely different route after season one but after the writers strike they had to rewrite a whole bunch of stuff which is why Caitlin got written off in season two and why that season was so short and why the writing got a bit wonky from that point out.

The story is very quickly rushed and pieced together like they did it last second also Heroes Reborn story only focus on twins (Tommy and Malina). not to metion they destroy all of the original characters Claire, Hiro and Noah are dead and Peter or Sylar wasn't even metion in this series also Matt Parkman went bad and is probably still in a ditch also the new characters are lame and not interesting

Personally I don't see reality warping as an option because the father didn't come across as particularly powerful in the ebook as he was wounded when Claire met him. I do think he's powerful because Angela was worried or perhaps he's part of some group that collectively is powerful but from what I see the kids get their powers from Clairs side of the family ie: Alice is related to Malina's powers and Arthur is related to Tommy's power. What do you think happened to Sylar and Peter or how do you see the future of the Heroes verse in your opinion,I'd be very interested in hearing your theories.(sorry for rambling just very excited to chat about heroes)
